Everything happened so fast. Nasa sasakyan na ako ngayon ni Worth. He's currently arranging our things on the trunk with Andromeda.
Agad na tinanggihan ko siya nang sinabi niyang ngayon na kami aalis, hindi ako pumayag dahil sa kalagayan niya. For goodness sake, he has an arm sling. Gusto ko ng bumaba sa bundok pero makakapaghintay naman ako kapag maayos na siya.
But Worth is Worth. Sabi niya nagawa na nga daw niyang makapagmaneho pauwi dito ng may tama ng dalawang bala.
I almost slap him when he said that. How could he be so proud of it?
"You don't have to come, Meda."
"Duh, I still need to change your bandages. Kaya sasama ako."
"This is supposed to be just me and Bellemy.."
"Don't worry. I would be busy flirting or shopping. Hindi ko kayo gagambalain,"
Naririnig ko ang usapan nilang dalawa sa likuran.
Andromeda's coming. He debated with Worth a while ago to come with us. Ayaw niyang maiwan mag-isa rito. She doesn't want to spend her time in Worth's gloomy house.
Napabuntong hininga ako sa loob ng sasakyan. Binagabag ako ng mga binitawan niyang salita kanina.
He didn't even let me speak. Pagkatapos niyang magsalita ay nag-empake na siya. I didn't got the chance to tell him my feelings.
Lumabi ako at pinaglaruan ang maliit na rosas ko sa kamay. I clipped it on one side of my hair then grabbed his camera on the front seat.
Sa likod ako umupo, since Andromeda claimed the passenger seat before I could even step closer to the car. Wala namang problema sakin. At least, I can move freely here.
I opened his camera and took a picture of me. I did a wacky before capturing it.
Pumasok na silang dalawa sa sasakyan. Andromeda had a playful grin on her face. Worth snorted at her before starting the engine of his car. Sumulyap siya sakin.
"You okay there, my Bellemy?" he sweetly asked.
Tumango ako sa kanya. Napansin kong ang ganda ng anggulo niya habang nakasilip sakin.
I raised the camera and took a photo of him. Sumimangot ang mukha niya.
"Am I pogi there? I wasn't prepared." tanong niya.
Natawa ako at umiling. "You're pogi, baby." I assured him.
He looked down and licked his lower lip. Bumuga siya ng hininga bago humarap na ulit. Nasisilayan ko ang ngisi sa labi niya.
"Baby.." ulit pa niya sa tawag ko.
I didn't mind him and looked at his photo. His military face mask was slightly pulled down from his nose. Kita ang pagngiti niya at kunot noo. I smiled while looking at it. He's so cute.
"Where's our first destination, by the way? Madaming check points at lockdowns ngay--I mean t-temporarily," sambit ni Andromeda.
Kakaibang tingin ang pinukol niya kay Worth bago pinasadahan ako ng tingin sa rearview mirror. Umayos siya ng upo. She fixed her face mask.
Kumunot ang noo ko dahil sa inasta niya. Pinaandar ni Worth ang sasakyan. He glanced at me on the rearview mirror as well.
"You want to go to the ocean, Bellemy? That's our nearest spot. I could have us arranged by a friend." saad niya.
"Okay, wherever will do. But Worth, please drive carefully. Isa lang ang kamay mong nagmamaneho.." paalala ko.
He nodded and smirked. "Your wish is my command."
