Chapter 5 In Need Of Answers

"You know..... english?" She said sitting up. She wiped her eyes with the sleeve of the black hoodie.

"Well yeah, they teach us that in school." I joked. I was trying to make her feel, some what comfortable with me. She looked at me, and her eyes made my heart hurt seeing how much I hurt her, without meaning to. "Sooooo.... Ummm" I started to say before she spoke.

"You're the one who paid for me at the store, right?" She asked titling her head. I nodded. Finally a smile came across her beautiful face. "Thank you." She said every so sweetly. I couldn't help but to smile back. That smile of her was contagious.

I stood up and held my hand out to her, slowly she reached for it and pulled her self up, but to much falling straight into my chest. Her hair brushed my face and I could smell, strawberrys with honeysuckles, the smell was ever so sweet, that it stained my mind. "Well, and here we are again." I laughed. This time she didn't even fight me to make me let go, instead she hugged me.

"Thank you sir.....I...I needed a hug." She studdered.

"Dabi.....my name is Dabi." The girl looked up at me. She gave me a closed eye smiled.

"Dabi....that's a pretty name." She said.

The way she said my name, made butterflies in my stomach, my heart flutter. "Thank you Dabi, for everything you've done so far." My heart couldn't take anymore, she had to be mine, but fighting my self from selfishness was already hard enough.

"Soooo. Dose the little mouse have a name?" I smiled.

She nodded and smiled. "Airmed. But every everyone just calls me Air."

"Air-med?" It almost rolled off the tongue. The girl giggle.

"Air is fine, Dabi." I couldn't get enough of her saying my name.

For a moment of awkward silence, I could feel her eyes on me. I looked at her and she quickly looked to the floor. Her cheeks slightly red, was she blushing?. "I know I kinda look like a monster huh?" I chuckled.

She looked straight at me with hurt eyes. "NO!" She shouted, it took me off guard. She pulled her hands to her chest and I just now noticed that her wrist were wrapped in bandages. She slowly reached for my face but stopped her self. I grabbed her hand and made her touch my cheek. At first her face was a little confused and then she slowly smiled. "No you're not a monster. Your scars are a part of you, but they don't make you who you are." Her words, they were full of wisdom, and yet it seemed like she was telling the truth.

I couldn't help but to melt into her soft hand."Heh, well thanks beautiful." Her eyes widen and she quickly took her hand back and pulled it to her chest. Her face was looking away from me. "Hey, did I say something wrong?" I asked, 'did I make her feel uncomfortable?'

She shook her head. And then looked at me with that closed eye smile again. I started to tell it was a mask. She was hurting from the inside and was trying to put on brave face. 'What hurt you?' I thought. "Hey why don't you and I grab something to eat?" She looked at me, with worry eyes. "Pssssh I'll pay alright?"

Her eyes, widden and then there was a true smile. "Sure!"

As we started walking out, I just remembered her cat, I stopped in my tracks and looked at Air. "Wait what about your cat?" She stopped and looked at me.

"My cat?" She looked around. "KASHI HERE KITTY?"

"Nyu?" And out came a smokey grey cat. She picked him up and held him like a baby petting his stomach.

"Wow, I've never seen a cat be that comfortable with someone."

She smiled. "Well we both have been through a lot."

We were almost to her apartment before she stopped and looked up at her patio, the door was wide open and their was voices coming from it. Her blue eyes widen and she started shaking.

"No.....no I'm not going back." I don't know why she was saying that but the voices coming from the apartment had frightened her. She froze and was shaking looking at the ground in horror. I reached my arm around her shoulder and brought her in close.

"Well I guess let's go to my place for now cuz it looks like you don't want to go there." I offered. I touched her and spoken softly pulled her out of what ever was going through that head. She slowly looked up at me.

"If.....you don't mind me and Kashi, with you." I looked down at her. Her eyes darting from me to the apartment and then back at me.

"Well here's the deal you're gonna tell me, what's going on, and why people are looking for you, and then you can stay as long as you need. Got it?" I smiled trying to be polite about it but I needed answers, and the answers only she could give. She looked at me and nodded.

"Okay, I need to vent and get things off my chest, and Kashi only can help so much." She chucked. I smiled. 'Well I'm getting what I wanna know tonight.'

As we started walking back to my I guess you call it my apartment. It started to randomly pouring.

"Welp shit." Before she did anything she handed me the cat, and started stripping off her hoodie, leaving her in a white cami top. I couldn't help but to see her chest, with a lacey black bra. I quickly turned my head, blushing trying to keep my eyes from looking down at her. She quickly rapped the cat in her hoodie.

"Are we almost there?" She asked. I nodded and grabbed her hand and led her to my place.

Once I unlocked the door and let her in, she looked around. Granted I didn't even have much. It was a simple apartment, with a living room, with a kitchen, and down the hall was the bedroom with the bathroom. She put Kashi down and I could see the clothing clinging to her. Her bra was like beacon shining in the night. I couldn't help but to look, and it didn't help that I haven't been with a girl in months. I started walking when I noticed the girl shivering from being soaked and cold.

"I know this is gonna be werid, but bear with me for a moment." I said. I pulled off my shirt leaving my skin naked. "okay, come here and hug me as tight as you can." She gave me a werid look. She looked over my chest, and pulled away.

"Wouldn't it hurt, if I touched you that much?" I pulled my head back in confusion.

"What? No! Just.....come here." I opened my arms out for her. And she slowly made her way with her hands still on her chest but she nuzzled into me. I hugged her tightly, trying to warm her up, from my body always burning. My chin rested on top of her head, and my arms wrapped around her waist.

"So warm." I hear her whispered. I couldn't help but to smile. "Dabi....you're so warm." She whispered. I could hear her make almost like a coo sound. We stood there for a few minutes before there was a meow that broke the silence. "Hey Dabi?" I heard her gentle voice.

"Mhmm?" I answered back.

"I can maybe take a shower, and maybe eat something?" I slowly let her go we never did grab something to eat cuz of the cat, and pluss with the rain there's no reason to go out to eat.

"Sure I can order us something, is there anything you want?"

She shook her head. "I'm not a picky eater so anything goes really."

I smiled "alright pizza it is." She smiled, and nodded.

"Also, Air, would you mind wearing my clothes so I can wash yours?" I asked. She shook her head no. "Alright, this way." I showed her to the bathroom. "I'll bring you a towel and some clothes." I let her know. She smiled and started the water as I walked out.

I found one of my old grey hoodies, and some gym shorts that I got as a gag gift from Toga. I grabbed a towel among the way and knocked on the door to let Air I was coming in. She was already naked and about to slide the glass door open to enter. I could see everything, and saw freckles that ran all over her body. Her chest was bigger then most of the girls I've ever seen, and not to mention that ass.

I shook my head, and placed the items on the bathroom counter and quickly closed the door. With my back against the wall I covered my face with one hand that the other arm across my chest. "God damn women. Why are you hiding that gorgeous body under all that baggy clothing?" I could feel my pants tighten. "Well....fuck." I ran back into my room to make a phone call to order pizza, as it was a bit uncomfortable as my nether regions was getting to tight and started to throb.
