The following day, maaga pa akong nagising at dumiretso sa private villa namin na nasa tabi lang ng resort. Ayaw ko sanang magstay dito dahil nakakalungkot maging mag-isa, pero mas mabuti nalang 'to kaysa makita ko si Jarvis at baka magpumilit na naman na maki-hang out kasama ko.

Mom was fond of Bali so this villa of ours was inspired by those. Infront of the two-story house was a swimming pool. Beside the pool, there stood a minibar slash outdoor kitchen and beside it is an outdoor dining room on a hut.

Humiga ako sa isa sa mga sun loungers at pinagmasdan ang kalangitan. Nag-aagawan ang kahel at itim na naglalakihang mga ulap na tinatabunan ang araw. Sa tingin ko, uulan mamaya.

Naiinip na ako dahil wala na akong maisip na pwedeng gawin. Matutulog na sana ulit ako kaso biglang nag vibrate ang cellphone ko kaya agad kong tinignan kung sino ang nagtext.

Idedelete ko na sana at ib-block ang numero ngunit nag message ulit.

Dahil sa nabasa, naisip ko na baka si Jarvis itong nagtetext. Pero kung siya nga 'to, paano niya nakuha ang numero ko?

I sighed. He's right, I'm avoiding the both of them. I could feel that if I'll let myself be with them, I'm sure that I'll get too attached.

I heaved a deep sigh before turning my phone off. A part of me wants to loosen myself up and make new friends, but another part of me wants to isolate myself from everyone.
