“Let's go home Cose!”

I can't forget what I heard earlier. Sinabi niya sa lahat na si Danna ang girlfriend niya, how funny. Siya yung sumira sa relasyon namin dati, bakit niya hinayaan na mapalapit siya kay Danna?

“You're wasted! 'Wag ka na maghabol kay Kael. He clearly stated earlier na girlfriend niya na si Danna!”

Sigaw sa akin ni Naih, pero I remained silent. Uminom lang ako hanggang sa umaasang mawawala lahat ng sakit na nararamdaman ko. Akala ko okay na kami? What just happened?

“I thought he's slowly falling for me again.”

Napaiyak ako sa sinabi, palaging nagre-replay sa utak ko kung paano niya sinabi 'yun, at kung paano siya umakto around Danna.

“I can't just lose him that easily.”

Tumayo ako at kahit na nahihilo sa alak na ininom, I tried to walk para lang makalabas ng bar, it's raining. Naalala ko 'yung gabing hiniwalayan ko siya at iniwan. Rain pours whenever I want to cry out my pain. Someone grab me and tinabi ako sa masilong para hindi mabasa, pero kumalas ako sa kanya at nagpaka-basa sa ulan.

“Kael?”

“Sette, please sumilong tayo dun. Magkakasakit ka.”

“You came back for me? You're worried about me?”

Kahit nahihilo ako nakikita ko ang ka-gwapuhan niya sa ilalim ng ulan.

“Ofcourse, please tumabi na tayo.”

I cried and I was about to beg him to stay with me pero hinila agad ako ni Nick papasok sa kotse niya.

“I want to go with Kael!”

“Please Cose, it's raining!”

“Why did you kiss me? You know that he was there! Maybe he misunderstood.”

Umiyak ako sa harapan niya, bakit ba sobrang nasasaktan ako? This is all the payment I have to face for sacrificing my own happiness six years ago?

“I'm sorry. Cose he don't deserve you. Please stop chasing him.”

Umiling ako at nagpahatid nalang sa condo ko. I never give up that easily, I can't just let him be with that girl. I know there's still a chance to win him back.

But he never replied, nagpalit ako ng damit kahit nahihilo ako. I'm sleepy so I just let my self sleep for awhile. I will face him tomorrow. No one can stop me now. He did fight for me six years ago, I will prove him that I can also fight for him.

“Ms. Cosette, nagkita na po kayo ni Mr. Valdez? Dumaan kasi siya dito kahapon. He will pick you up daw po for reunion.”

Nagulat ako sa sinabi ni Shane, maybe I did something wrong para magawa nya 'yun. He became mad.

“Can you just call me if there's a customer na you can't handle? I will immediately go back in here, may dadaanan lang ako for lunch.”

Tumango siya at dumiretso na ako sa studio nila Kael. Pero wala siya dun, Danna is here. Nilapitan niya ako.

“Ganyan kaba ka-desperada? Wala na kayo ni Kael pero you keep pursuing him. Nakakahiya, edukada kaba? Hindi mo ba alam na may girlfriend na siya?”

Inirapan niya ako at tinaasan ng kilay.

“Mas nakakahiya ka, you should tell that to yourself six years ago. Kael never had a thing with you, but you spread an unpleasant news about being in a relationship with Kael. How desperate isn't it?”
