Amethyst.
I smiled as I stared at the scenery before me. We were meeting Gaia today and Vaye and I were already at her mountain. The six of us originally planned to go together but Vaye and I couldn't travel to Weiss' kingdom so we went on our own. Meanwhile, Pearl, Sapphire, Eva and Weiss all went together. I was bummed out because I also wanted to ride with them. I really missed them and I wanted to see how they were. But Vaye and I were very busy that day so we couldn't go. To be honest, Vaye and I had an appointment at a spa today so we could relax. Sadly, we had to cancel it because of Gaia's letter.

Although I wanted to relax, I was worried about Gaia. What if something bad happened to her? Gaia was one of my friends and even if she wasn't my friend, I'd still be worried. I knew Gaia was powerful, from what I heard she's very experienced so she should be able to defend herself. But what if she was outnumbered? Or what if her enemies were more powerful? A small smack on my head dragged me away from my thoughts.

I frowned and glanced at Vaye who was looking at me with a concerned look. "Stop overthinking, babe. She's fine, I can smell her." I sighed in relief as soon as she said that.

I should've just asked Vaye in the first place. Why did I forget that I have a vampire girlfriend who can hear heartbeats? I should probably start using Vaye's powerful senses for my own good.

Clearing my throat, I decided to change the subject. "So when are they arriving?" I asked, looking around. It was kind of hot and I'd like to be in Gaia's mountain right now.

Vaye shrugged, "They should be arriving soon."

I nodded and proceeded to just look around. I was slightly getting impatient because they were late. We agreed to meet at 9:30 and it was already 10:00. Vaye and I waited for thirty minutes! If Vaye wasn't with me I'm sure I would've been dead by now. I really hate waiting. I can always do something better than just wait. Like right now, maybe I could've been asleep and relaxed but no. Instead, I had to wait for thirty minutes for my darn friends to arrive. I could've been doing something productive like sleep! Or just eat! Anything but wait!

Vaye's laughter made me glance at her. I groaned, "Are you reading my mind?" When I said that, Vaye couldn't help but laugh even harder. I sighed and crossed my arms as I waited for her to calm down.

"Chill, babe. I'm not reading your mind. Weiss just sent me a text, they had to stop because Sapphire had to poop. But they're close now." I grimaced as I imagined that scenario. Maybe it was a good thing that Vaye and I didn't come with them..

"I bet Weiss is so pissed right now." Vaye added, chuckling as she placed her phone in her back pocket. I giggled lightly when she mentioned that. That would be hilarious.

Suddenly, I heard a helicopter near by and I had to cover my ears and close my eyes. I felt Vaye's hand on my head as she pulled me close to her chest. After a few minutes, I heard the helicopter land safely. I sighed in relief once that was over. I opened my eyes and saw my friends exit the helicopter, one by one.

I instantly chuckled when I saw Sapphire's smug face. Leave it to Sapphire to brighten your day. I grinned and approached them. I made sure to hug each and every one of them even though Eva and Weiss weren't comfortable with it. The last person that I hugged was Pearl. But as I was hugging her, I whispered near her ear, "I'm the only virgin left."

Pearl instantly pushed me away with a scowl and a blush. "I'm pretty sure Weiss is still a virgin." She retorted, glaring at me, playfully.

"You guys can talk about how I took Pearl's virginity later. We gotta meet Gaia first." Eva bluntly stated, smirking as she said so.

Pearl rolled her eyes, "I was telling Amethyst how horrible you were in bed." As soon as Pearl said that, I saw Eva's shoulders fell and her expression immediately became nervous and sad.

"Re-Really?"

Pearl noticed this and she blushed whilst frantically shaking her head. "N-No! You were good, great even. You were absolutely amazing and I-" Once Eva started smirking, Pearl immediately stopped talking and instead, rolled her eyes at Eva.

"Guys, sorry to interrupt but we gotta go." Vaye stated, chuckling at us.

All of us formed a circle and held hands with each other. Weiss whispered a word which I didn't hear and soon enough, we were floating. I was holding Pearl and Vaye's hands which slightly comforted me. I wasn't a big fan of flying. I relaxed when I felt Vaye's thumb rubbing the back of my hand. I could also feel Pearl gently squeezing my left hand. I grinned when we finally landed on the ground.

As soon as we landed, we were met with Gaia who was pacing. I frowned as I watched her pace around while shaking her head. I heard Weiss cleared her throat, "Um, Gaia? What's wrong?"

Once Gaia noticed us, she stopped pacing. She bit her lip and signaled us to sit down. I glanced at the rock chairs and sighed. Rocks weren't really comfortable for my butt but I had no choice. Secretly hating it, I sat on the rock chair with a visible frown. Vaye noticed my frown which made her kiss my forehead. I instantly smiled, her kisses always made me happy.

When we were all finally seated, Gaia began talking, "You need to work together. The three kinds have to work together." She started, begging us with her eyes.

"Why? What's happening?" Pearl asked, concern evident in her voice.

Gaia gulped, "Just promise me that you'll do anything to stop this? All six of you?" I shot a nervous glance at the others. They all seemed to be worried as well. I couldn't help but get a strange feeling in my gut that said something bad was going to happen.

"Yes, yes, we promise." Weiss answered, her eyes focused on Gaia and her jaw was tightened. Gaia sighed in relief when she heard that. But Weiss wasn't finished, "Will you please just tell us what's wrong?"

"A war is coming."
