The men seated around the room looked at one another with curiosity. They must have thought I had invited a geisha to entertain them. However, the looks on their faces turned from curiosity to horror when Alastor appeared in the doorway.
"I hope you all have enjoyed yourselves," The Radio Demon said with a sinister grin, "And I sincerely hope you enjoyed your last meal."
I took the opportunity to slip out the door, shutting it firmly behind me. Taking a small keyring from my pocket, I found the right key and locked the door. Closing my eyes, I took a deep breath. I had agreed to this, I couldn't change my mind at the last moment.
Not wanting to hear the carnage that was about to begin, I turned and walked down the hall back towards the gardens. If this had to happen, I didn't want to be anywhere near it.
