I looked at the notorious Radio Demon sitting across from me. Years of practice kept my face schooled into a mask of calm serenity. I knew I had heard that name somewhere, but in my secluded corner of Hell, it had made it hard to put two and two together.
"Alastor-sama," I said, bowing politely to the grinning deer demon, "It is an honor."
Alastor held up his sake glass as a small toast, replying, "Thank you for being such a gracious host. It's relaxing to not be noticed for once."
I was a bit taken aback by his words, however, I managed to say, "You are welcome here anytime."
We exchanged a few more pleasantries until Yuki, a young geisha who lived nearby, arrived. I could have skinned the girl alive for being late. However, I decided to spare her and her mistress handle her.
Giving Stolas and Alastor a bow, I excused myself for the evening and hoped to see them again soon. When I got to my feet, Alastor's demeanor caught my attention. He was watching me intently, almost as if he was pondering whether or not to ask a question.
"Please," I said, bowing one more time before leaving, "Come back soon, Alastor-sama, we would be honored to see you again."
