The Plan

For the next several hours, Alastor explained to me how to lure several men to my tea house and what would happen. He suggested the cherry blossom viewing party I had been planning in a week. I would send them all invitations and he would make sure they came.

That was the simple part. The hard part was how to seclude them from the rest of the main party without raising panic. I suggested a private dinner for "new patrons" I wished to bring into the teahouse, of which only the targets would be invited.

Alastor grinned at my suggesting, stating I should have gone into a career as an assassin. According to the infamous Radio Demon, I had a natural talent for planning sabotage.

I smiled as serenely as I could at him, relieved he was in a better mood. Now that the storm had passed and something was going to be done to those who had wronged him, Alastor was laughing and drinking as though nothing had happened.

"My dear," Alastor gave me a little toasting motion with his sake cup, "I do believe this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship."
