/47/ Kidnapped

"Ester, are you okay?" Crystal which has the closest distance from me suddenly asked. Baka nakita niya ang biglang pagkabalisa ko.

Napatigil ang lahat sa paglalakad at napatingin muli sa akin.

"Yeah, I'm okay," I plainly aswered.

"I don't think you are," muling sabi niya.

Sasabihin ko bang kanina pa may nakamasid sa amin?

No. I need to confirm it first. Baka ako lang ang pakay niya. Ayokong madamay ang mga kaibigan ko.

"What's wrong, Ester?" Finnix said in worry sa gitna ng pagkatulala ko.

Kung hindi ko sasabihin sa kanila ang totoo well I have to think of a lie, again.

"Honestly..." tila mabilaukan ako sa unang salita na sinambit ko. Honestly? Seriously Ester?  "...I feel like my stomach is acting-up. I might need to comfort myself first."

"Samahan ka na namin," pag-aalok naman Heaven. She even clung her arms into mine pero inalis ko naman ito kaagad.

"No need. I can handle myself. Just enjoy your moment. I'll catch up, promise!" Hinawakan ko ang tiyan ko, and I acted like I am in a hurry "Bye, see you later!"

Tumakbo ako palayo. I even left a glance for the last time, and I saw them waving their hands innocently. Habang ako'y papalayo, unti-unti naman silang nawawala sa paningin ko.

Now, all I have to do is to know who was following us...or me.

Third Person's POV

Habang naglalalakad si Ester, isang anino naman ang kanina pa nakasunod sa kaniya. Alam ni Ester na may nakasunod sa kaniya. While the shadow was doing his best to conceal his presence so that he wouldn't be found out, Ester was also doing her best to not alert the shadow. Ester wanted to lure whoever was following her into a place where she could fight it face to face.

Sinadya ni Ester na pumunta sa isang parke. Walang kaalam-alam ang anino na kanina pa alam ni Ester na siya ay nakasunod sa kaniya. Tiwala ang anino sa signus niyang kayang itago ang kaniyang sarili pero sadyang kakaiba si Ester, for she could still feel him. The shadow just followed her wherever she goes.

Tinungo ni Ester ang parte ng parke kung saan maraming nagtataasang puno sa gilid ng daan. Ester walked gracefully on the hallway, acting like she didn't know she was being followed. But the truth was, Ester was calculating the time and momentum of how the shadow had been jumping from the branches of the trees.

Ester secretly grabbed her dagger on her shoulder. Pinakiramdaman niya ang paligid upang sundan ang bawat galaw ng anino. Although the shadow was behind her, using Singko's ability it was as if she could see everything behind her back. '

"Target locked," she thought when she finally had a hold of the shadow's momentum. She predicted the next spot where the shadow would jump next and in a split second, she swiftly threw her dagger.

"Aack!" isang pagdaing ang narinig ni Ester. A sign which meant she hit her target. Ngunit sadyang napakabilis ng anino. Within a blink, the shadow was now out of nowhere. Ester couldn't even feel him.

Kaagad na hinanap ni Ester ang kaniyang dagger at nakita niya itong nakasaksak sa sanga ng puno. She jumped with every energy she had to get it. As soon as she got her dagger, she noticed the blood covering its balde. "Kaya pala dumaing siya, nasugatan ko siya. Who was he? And why was he following me?"

Ester finally shut Singko's ability. Her senses all returned to normal.

Neither did she now, another mysterious man was planning to attack her with a baseball bat. Singko was about to warn Ester, but she was too late. Naramdaman na lang ni Ester na may kung anong matigas na bagay ang tumama sa ulo niya. Hindi siya nahimatay. Nagtangka pa siyang lumaban ngunit isa na namang matigas na bagay ang humampas sa batok niya. Ester felt sleepy until nothingness ate her consciousness.
