"Signal?? Phone??" He asked, looking dumbfounded with these two words.
"Don't tell me you don't know this??" I said, frowning while pointing to my phone and he shook his head.
"Isn't that remote control for tv??" He asked and I slapped my forehead.
Are you kidding me?!
Don't said he's someone from stone age!!
"Have you heard of a word mobile phone??" I asked, one by one word make sure he heard it completely.
"아니요. I only learnt about your country and culture but not technology" He said and I made an 'o' face.
Okay. Now, it make sense:)
Although it's kinda ridiculous...
No wonder there's no signal or wifi here.
"This thing is called phone. Phone is used to contact your friends and family" I said, explaining to him who looked more confused before he slightly nodded.
"So, what is signal??" He asked, scratching his head, looking clueless like a loss(?) puppy.
"If we want to contact our friends and family, we need signal to do so" I said and once again an 'o' appeared on his face.
"Don't you have friends or family??" I asked, curiosity covering me.
"No. Since I'm born with a black wings, no white swan wanted to be my friend just because I'm different. My family leave me alone when I'm 5 years old so, since then I learnt how to live on my own and got out from my world and stayed in here" He said, looking down, avoiding eyes contact with me before a tear fall down, touching his carpet.
Now, I felt bad for him:(
I let him cried for awhile, not knowing what should I do before my body moved closer to him and my hand went up to his wavy hair before slowly patting his head, stroking his hair, trying to calm him down.
"미안해. I don't know about it" I apologized my hand still at his head before he slightly lifted his head, looking at me with his swollen eyes.
"괜찮아. I'm the one that got carried with this feeling" He sobbed before talking a deep breath and let it out slowly.
"고마워, y/n-ah"
