Chapter twenty one

The rest of the night was calm. Easy.
When i got back to the house Teddy was asleep on the couch.

The Tv was left on so I turned it off and put a blanket over him. I sighed and walked to the room, got changed and went right to bed.

" E-Elliot get up. "

Teddy shook me awake. He seemed worried.

" W-what?" I yawned sitting up.

" Ace.. is here."

I took a pillow, laid back and groaned into the pillow. I wasn't in the mood to deal with this bullshit.

" just make sure the door is locked"

He nodded and went to check, came back relieved.

" He should leave soon.."

I nodded sitting back up.

He sat next to me and i laid my head on his shoulder.

He kissed my head and The door started getting pounded on.

He eventually left and Teddy looked at me.

" How was work last night?"

I shrug " Billy thinks he Can get in my pants now"

He tensed slightly and sighed.
" fucking cobras.."

I nodded and got up.

" you alright?"

I nodded " Guess im scared.. Ace scares me"

He nods and pulls me back to him " I wont let him get to you.."

I smiled slightly. " You find any places hiring yet?"

" Bluepoint but i aint gonna work as a waiter. Im thinking of going out to the junkyard, Maybe see if asshat Milo out there could use some help"

" You think He'd want your help?" I laugh.

" Oh who gives a shit"

I sighed " Do you think Ace would try anything while I'm at work?"

He shrugs " I cant say, hes pretty insane"

" Yeah.. "

He turned my face to him and he kissed me softly. " And If anything I'll just stick around to protect you"

I giggled " my hero"

" I sure hope so" he pushed me down getting on top of me.

" God your such a horndog"

He smirked " Good, I have someone to help me out dont I?"

I blushed.

Work tonight was packed. It was filled with so many different people.

we had our older men sitting in a booth. People grieving at the bar. Cobras playing pool, making out with whatever girl was closest to them. Some of my friends sitting in our usual back booth, then some people dancing to the music playing.

I looked at the time and smiled to myself. I walked over to my friends and sat down. " Skippin' out on work?"

" Nah, its my break. How have you guys been?"

" oh get this! Miles got his hand on a fuckin' girl!" Jensen laughed.

" Oh god what the hell did you do?"

Miles rolled his eyes " Made a good impression on someone for once. Guess she liked me"

I smiled " well, nice job man."

" How are you and Teddy?"

We haven't seen eachother since we went camping, so telling them everything was gonna be a handful.

" Lets say.. Im not with eyeball... but me and Teddy are going at it" I blushed.

Their jaws dropped. " You and Teddy are what?!"

Jack started cracking up " Money now, dipshits!"

I turned to jack " What do you mean?"

They chuckled " We made a bet. He guessed you guys would be hooking up, we thought otherwise. We owe him $100"

I giggled and rolled my eyes " Where is he anyways?"

I shrugged " Probably still at the apartment"

" Is he good?"

I started laughing, it was like talking to a bunch of girls.

" Hes a horny bastard "

They chuckled " Who knew he'd even be able to get some with someone like you" Jensen said taking a sip of his beer.

" What do you mean?"

" Man, you guys are so close we thought you guys wouldn't even try with eachother. Your pretty man.. hes fugly"

I started laughing.

" Whos fugly?"

we looked up and there stood teddy.

He sat next to me.

" You are man!"

Teddy flipped him off " Says the one who cant do shit with his looks. You look like a bum"

They started playfully insulting and arguing and i had to get back to work.

Teddy grabbed my arm and roughly kissed me to 'prove' himself to our friends.

The other boys started whistling at us and I pulled away.

" Teddy you dork" I smirk.

" only for you baby"

I walk back to the bar and take a few orders.

" You and Duchamp hm?"
