Another morning came; it dawned with low-hanging clouds. Still, a few rays of light made their way to the land.

Aurora had been packing her belongings through the night, helping her keep her mind off of things, but leaving her with only a few hours of sleep. When the knock came at the door, she had already showered and dressed.

"Can't the headmaster back down on his decision?" Liz asked, restless with her friend's sudden leaving."I feel like this is a bad idea."

Aurora shrugged a shoulder but still manage to smile at her, "I believe this is for the best." and brought her suitcases to the bedroom's way-in and out. There aren't too many of them so, she should be able to carry them to the train station on her own. She was a strong, dynamic woman. She got this!

"It's not fair," Liz shouted, catching back Aurora's attention. "Everyone's leaving..."

Facing Liz again, she couldn't help but drop her handbag and rushed towards her, giving the biggest bear-hug she could muster. The little pink creature tried to comfort its master with nuzzles and licks, but nothing seemed to soothe her down; several tears ran down the Prefect's cheeks and chin, thus watering the shirt on her uniform. Her sobs echoed quietly in the room, she was a big mess."Shh-- It's okay," Aurora held on tight to the last one of her best-friends, rocking her back and forth, and tried to sound hopeful and bring her some peace of mind, "It's not the end, Liz." and added, "And, whatever happens, we'll be always friends, don't ever forget that."

"I-I-I know... I just didn't know I would be seeing this day come!" She confessed in a trembling voice.

"I know silly, I know..." She waited for her to calm down first then, gave her a final squeeze, and released her. After whipping some tears of her own, she smiled at Liz. She surely didn't want the last memory of her to be of sadness and melancholy."Now, I really have to go. I can't make Vincent wait any longer."

She whipped the tears from her eyes with the sleeve of her jacket. Her eyes were bloodshot still and tears have seemed to begin blurring her vision again. "Have a safe trip, Aurora."

Aurora's pace came to a halt in front of the station, and people drifted by, some entering and exiting the train, not staying for too long, ones hugging goodbye their loved ones, and others satisfying their curiosity about its occupants.

"Come, Aurora. Your platform is 3/4." Vincent said and strolled ahead.

She gave him a long look and yet, couldn't help but sigh and following him, bags in hand. Soon, they were standing together upon the platform that would take her to Valkyrie, her hometown.

Vincent glanced down at the watch in his left wrist and checked up the time. "A few more minutes and your train will be arriv-- hey, did you lost something?" he asked, noticing she kept looking in different directions of the station.

"No... I was--" Just then, a sudden calling of a familiar voice made her spun around in her heels and look at the farthest end of the platform. Walking in the platform was Randolph in casual clothing; he chose to wear a half-open white satin ruffle collar shirt tugged inside his pastel-brown colored trousers. Her expression brightened immediately at the sight of him.
