Chapter 32: The Plugs Daughter

Phoenix Arizona, 6:30pm

I took a flight to Arizona this afternoon just to check on the warehouse and the store. Sameerah decided to close the store down and go strictly online. The store was pretty much sold out and empty, I'm going to sell the property and put it in my daughters bank account to get it started. The warehouse was in good shape and everything was accounted for, three times out the week Yandel would go and do the count randomly to make sure everything was good at all times and I tried to get down there at least once a week just to remind my niggas what it really is.

"Boss, you getting soft." Jamal, one of my guys said to me. He was cool, he worked for me to take care of his family. That's most niggas story but I actually felt like he was cool. He stayed out the way, did his job well and I had no complaints.

"What do you mean?" I looked up at him with my brow raised.

"You settled down, you're starting a family, that makes the toughest niggas soft. It's not a bad thing, but you know what love is now."

I started to laugh at him, "My nigga you getting soft too!"

"Look, maybe. But it's all over you dawg. Forreal, it was good seeing you." I dapped him up and he made his way out the door, he had deliveries.

"He's right." Yandel said.

"What?"

"He's right. You're not soft per say but you're finally growing up. I'm proud of you. But my thing is, when we leaving this shit alone? You're starting a family, I'm ready to settle down finally, how are we gonna do that when we're looking over our shoulders and risking our lives for money we don't even need?"

"Who are you and what have you done with my sister?"

She started to laugh at me, "I'm serious dawg!" She said.

"Man, I don't know. You're right. You really ready to leave this shit alone? And then do what?" I asked her.

"Yeah, I'm ready. And I don't know, open up a few businesses, travel the world, shit even start a YouTube channel. We can do anything we want!" She laughed, waving her hands around.

"Fine. We done."

I gave her my hand to shake and she shook it. Bet.

Sameerah Pov

I was sitting in the office ordering things for Gelani, I had nothing else better to do. I couldn't wait for my daughter to get here. She's making my hair grow so long. It was already at the middle of my back but now it's almost to my ass. Gia is loving me wearing my hair straightened, It's usually in this big curly fro.

My phone started ringing, it was my wife. I stood up in the camera showing her my belly and my ass.

"Big momma!"

"Hey baby." I said to her,

"I miss you. I'll be home by like 8, you wanna go on a date?"

"Yes, I'd love to go on a date with you."

"Okay, get dressed. I already picked your clothes and shoes out for you." She said smiling through the phone.
