your eyes widened, figure shaking at the words that you just heard. you tried to calm yourself, hand slapping over your mouth quickly to try and quiet your rapid breathing. these two.. they couldn't be serious about that, right?
"as long as we stay as unsuspecting as possible, we'll be fine." reiners voice sounded through the halls again. their footsteps followed behind, decreasing in sound which made you aware that now was the best time to leave.
unless, of course, your feet wanted to get caught on metal laying around. which is exactly what happened, alerting the two guys that weren't very far away of your presence.
with little time, you scrambled to your feet and jumped behind a stack of barrels, leaning down and forcing yourself quiet as you heard them rush back to the scene. "reiner.." bertholdts voice stuttered.
