Chapter 34

How can he bloody tell me I don't deserve her?! I thought he was my friend. I would do anything for her! I kept fuming as I drove entering her street. I will prove to him, I will show them that I can take care of her, protect her and be faithful to her. She showed me what is called love and kindness, i never had a female figure to show me that, apart from my brother with is mandatory, i never knew what loving care was until she came along.

She feeds me whenever I skip meals, take care of my wounds, advise me, support me even with all the news on my reputation and my dysfunctional, shady family. He then expects me not to fall in love with her and forget about her just because one asshole sweeps her off her feet. I may be called the devil but I can also be prince charming just for her. I clenched the steering wheel, seething... I left them in the house because if I spent one second there I would have bashed his head but Leah will castrate me for touching her younger brother, the things I would do for that girl....

I parked my car in front of her house, sighting her rusty car, i checked my wrist watch which reads few minutes to four, she should be through with her shift. I unbuckle my seat belt stepping out then locking the door. I walk up to the entrance of the house, knocking but no reply. I turn the door knob and was surprised as it came undone leaving the door open. That's strange, Leah is always careful, she always locks the door behind her.

"Hello!?... Leah!?" I shout for anyone.

"In here! A minute!" She shouts back, of course she is inside. I entered closing the door. I look around the house, seems she is the only one at home. Perfect. I walked towards the hallway that I was familiar with. It leads to the rooms, there are three bedrooms. I got closer to the door of Leah's room which was slightly opened, she can't see what is going on outside but if I peep I can see her clearly without her seeing me. It may seem childish, you can call me Peeping Tom but we gives a fuck. I took a glimpse and froze.

She was naked...no, semi naked, she as on a pair of black panties which looks so hot on her, today is my lucky day. Damn how I wish I brought my camera along, i would have added this to the collection. With her wet hair it seems she just finished taking her bath, she was looking around for clothes. Her  breast round, ripe and big, her waist slim along with her flat stomach, her hips wide, big delicious butt. She as the perfect hour glass. Am missing a lot, I got excited down there, really excited. I took sharp breaths, forcing myself to leave before she catches me and God knows how weird that will be.

"Calm down!" I told myself clenching my jaw, as I got to the leaving room. "Relax.. Calm down" I keep telling myself. It will really be awkward if Leah walks in on me with a boner. I sighed adjusting my self as I hear her footstep.

"Hi... "

"Hey... " I grunted as she looks at me rather weirdly.

"Are you ok?" She asks me as I couldn't meet her eyes, and my voice also changed.

"Of course" she looks at me suspiciously

"You sure? You look uncomfortable"

"Am fine Leah" I give her a smile, am not telling her I have a boner because i was staring at her during her private time, thank God its not so visible. She shrugs taking a seat beside me on the sofa, she wore a basketball shorts which I think belongs to one of the twins, and a crop top. She looks good in anything. She decided to watch some movies, she choose a girly lovey dovey movie telling me its her house and her rules. Through out the movie I kept stealing glances at her, i almost got caught but I was quick to turn to the movie before she sees me. I can't last five minutes into the movie before staring at her again.

She sighs picking the remote, switching off the TV. Uh oh... Here comes trouble.

"What is the matter?" She turns to me, folding her arms.

"Uhn?" I played dumb "what do you__"

"Don't play dumb with me Antonio, you were staring at me all through the movie" she glared at me. Was  it that obvious. I sighed rubbing my hands on my face. Her posture relaxed as she moves closer, she  placed her left hand on my shoulder.

"Talk to me Antonio... " she said. One of the things I loved about her is her good heart and listening ear.

"Have you ever felt like... You are not good enough for someone?"

"Good enough?" She questioned.

"Yes, like you don't deserve something or someone" I said as sighed staring into space, she unconsciously removed her hand from my shoulder, running it through her hair.

"Well... Sometimes I feel like am not good enough in what I do, like in my work_"

"But you are hardworking and intelligent" she smiles.

"I work hard to achieve it, Tony... They just don't come to me, and sometimes I feel like I haven't done enough for myself, my family and my friends" she smiles at me and I returned it.
"But you know what.. I do my best and give it my all knowing fully well everything will fall into place... Some way, somehow"

"Really?" So I should also give it my best shot when it comes to you, i said mentally.

"Of cos... You can't be good enough for everyone or everything Tony, but just ensure you do your best"

"So you are telling me if I want something I should go get it?" She looks at me thinking then nods, i sigh taking her hands in mine. "Thank you so much.. You have always been a good confidant" she beams flipping her semi dry hair, sending me a wink, I blushed, she didn't know what she does to me. This was when I noticed how close we are... Well its now or never.

I quickly place my lips on her, kissing her thoroughly, she froze I think due to the shock, it was everything I ever wanted, i felt complete. She snaps out of it trying to push me away, she didn't kiss me back. Finally she punched me on my chest but it was a feebly attempt. I released her savouring the aftertaste of her sweet lips.

"What the heck is wrong with you?!" She screams at me quickly standing up wiping her lips. That little gesture kinda hurt.

"Am sorry, i don't know what I__"

"No! Don't tell me that Antonio!" She glares walking around the sofa distancing herself away from me "you know what you were doing! Am with Hunter for goodness sake!" I stood up too immediately pissed off.

"You told me to go for what I want! You said it just now! Its you I want Leah!" She looks dumbstruck at my words as I fumed, in fact I must resemble a cartoon character right now.

"Am with someone else Tony, you need to move on!"

"I can't! You think I didn't try, i did but I can't stop thinking about you, that was why I asked you out on our graduation night" I said as she looks confused.

"I thought you were drunk" she whispers, drunk?.

"Well I was but I was telling you the truth, and I also knew you had a crush on me" she looks shock at my words, she thinks I don't know.

"That was then Antonio, we were teenagers, its different now cause am with someone else and I like him so much.. In fact am falling in love with him and am so happy __" I raised my hand for her to stop, her words her like knives to my heart.

"At least give me a chance" I begged her, she opens her mouth to speak, but close it, imitating a fish. She groans.

"You know what? Just leave.. I need to think... to think this through, please" she turns her back, i stared at her silently begging her to look at me.

"I will leave, but know that we are not done with this conversation, i really love you Leah and always get what I want" I said before leaving.

As soon as I got out, a smile made a way to my face. I have wanted to do that for so long even if it was forced, i love it and I know she did, i can feel the static element between us. She may not like this but she will later. I hunger for her the more now... Just a kiss. Its this what I have been missing?. Well Hunter or not she is mine and am gonna have her.
