Soulmates' Rest

Narrator POV

The two billionaires hung out in T'Challa's room. Tony lied facing upwards on his bed. T'Challa sat in his chair. Twirling a pen around his fingers.

"Now what?" Tony said.

"What what?" T'Challa responded.

"What do we do now? Just sit here and act like it never happened? Cause that's what's it looks like now." Tony sat up.

"What would you like to do? Stay here?" T'Challa said.

"I don't know." Tony said as T'Challa got up from his seat to sit next to Tony.

At one point Tony yawned. He started getting tired. Then he started dozing off. Tony fell asleep.

"We could– Oh." T'Challa looked down at the now sleeping Tony.

"You work yourself up too much." T'Challa grumbled and laid Tony down so that he was more comfortable.

He pulled the covers over Tony's shoulders, and sat. He played with his dark brown hair that seemed to shine with the moon. It was pretty.

Soft.. T'Challa thought.

Tony looked very peaceful. He snuggled closer to T'Challa for more warmth.

This surprised T'Challa. He did not know that Tony would move closer to him rather than farther.

Soft, quiet snores filled the room. T'Challa was still playing with his hair. He brushed the back of his hand softy across his cheek.

Smooth..

He slowly laid down beside Tony. They were now facing each other. T'Challa thought he looked more peaceful sleeping than actually awake, less stressed. He even kind of looked a bit younger too.

T'Challa knew Tony often had nightmares. That's what lead him getting 2-3 hours of sleep max per week. It was not regular. The average person should get at least 7 hours per day. As you can see, it's not right.

T'Challa thought, what if he only has nightmares because of the environment?

He thought. If he had nightmares in the Avengers Tower, does that mean something bad had happened?

He needed to know, what were causing these horrible nightmares? He didn't want Tony to suffer anymore. He didn't want anyone to have to face these awful dreams.

Tony didn't seem to have any nightmares so far. At least he wasn't showing it. Tony would usually thrash and whimper even, when he would sometimes get these nightmares.. but now he just seemed like a regular person sleeping. Though when he would, they were almost always the same ones. Obie's betrayal as he took his life source out of him, Pepper's breakup, and oh so horrible Afghanistan.

T'Challa leaned closer and pressed a kiss on top of his forehead. Hoping to drive away all the bad things and bring in the good ones.

Soon enough, he also fell into a deep sleep. With Tony cuddled close to him, and T'Challa having a protective arm around Tony. They slept peacefully.

Good Night ukatana.

Or morning. Which ever time it is for you. This was short haha. I got lazy.
