(In the morning)
Third-person p.o.v
The alarm clock blared in your head yelling at you to wake up.
Rubbing your eyes you sat up and looked over.
Gavin was still sleeping.
Slowly you made your way to the kitchen and started up the coffee. "Maybe I'll have some, again after not having it for many months." You thought to yourself.
You made your way to the guest bedroom and threw on the suit you always wore to work.
Fixed your hair in the bathroom and made sure you were clean.
With a huffed you went back to Gavin's room.
Softly you shook him away.
"Hmm? What is it?" He mumbled.
"It's time for work, Gavin."
He groaned loudly.
"Five more minutes!" He grunted loudly.
"How about right now you go get dressed you don't wanna be late for work."
"Fine." Gavin would get over it.
"The coffee is done." You laughed before leaving Gavin to get dressed.
Slowly Gavin got up and put his normal clothes on.
You kindly made Gavin his coffee and you made a cup for yourself.
"You like coffee?" Gavin asked confused.
"It's nice every once and a while."
Before Gavin could grab his keys, you snatched them and shook them in front of him.
"I'm driving today." You teased.
Gavin crossed his arm.
"Alright. Just don't crash us into a wall." He smirked.
"Trust me I won't."
Gavin grabbed both coffees and for once followed you to the car.
(Getting to work)
You and Gavin walked into work and Gavin sat down at his desk as Connor and Hank walked up to you two.
"You feeling better Gavin?" Hank asked.
"Yeah, I am. I'm feeling way better."
Connor softly bumped your arm.
"How are you and Gavin doing?" He asked quietly.
"Oh. We are doing good. We've been doing great together." You smiled.
"That's good news. You seem to have changed his mind about androids." Connor laugh.
"I think I did anyway."
You and Connor chuckled. Because you knew Connor did the same to Hank.
It was pretty nice to see.
Everything went back to normal after a few hours and Gavin seemed happier than anyone had seen him before.
"Hey, (y/n)." Gavin spoke.
"Yes, Detective?"
"I love you, tin can." He laughed.
You laughed with a smile.
"I love you too, Gavin."
