but it's a school night

so? i stayed over last night
lixie, if you're sad i'm not just gonna watch you cry
i don't care if it's a school night
i will stay up all night to take care of you

i just wish i meant more, you know

soojin left her room, heading downstairs and putting on her shoes. jisung walked out from the kitchen, into the hallway, stopping in his tracks.

"where are you going?" the boy questioned, furrowing his eyebrows.

"felix's house." she responded, standing up, "i'll be back before school, maybe."

"is he okay?" jisung asked, earning a shrug from the girl.

"i don't know, but i do know he's doubting his worth and i don't like that." soojin shook her head, "i just wanna make sure he's okay and be there for him."

the younger hummed a response, "be safe, and tell him i love him."

the girl nodded her head, "get some rest, loser. i love you and i'll see you later."

11:30 pm

soojin arrived at felix's house, quietly unlocking the front door and locking it behind her. the girl then took off her shoes before heading upstairs to felix's room.

soojin softly opened felix's door, seeing the boy crying into a pillow. the girl's heart broke at the sight, entering the boy's room and closing his door behind her. she then walked over to the boy, whispering out to him, "move just a bit, lixie."

the younger moved over for the girl, giving her room to lay. she then crawled into bed, wrapping her arms from behind the boy, "it's okay, lixie." she spoke quietly, "you'll be okay."

the boy rolled over, clinging onto soojin as he cried into her shoulder. soojin sighed out, rubbing the boy's back, "it's okay, just let it all out."
