where i've been - an update

it's crazy to think it's been two-three years since i last updated this book, and honestly i have an explanation as to why i disappeared with this book.

i've genuinely lost motivation writing this book, and it's just no longer fun to write for me. it feels like anytime i update or whatever, it's something new with disappointment and it's very hard to try and continue to update a book when someone is getting disappointed or complaining about x character or x timeline or how i wrote x. it genuinely is so tiring, and i know that now that my book blew up (which i am so grateful for) i will get backlash and negative feedback, but at the same time it's gotten to the point where i just don't even want to have my minsung books up anymore.

i have genuinely considered so many times to just unpublish classmates and homework altogether and move on with my life, because it is exhausting. it's not even that too, i will see fights in the comments and it's not something i enjoy to see either. i don't like negativity on my page, i've always been so strict about that too. if you can't respect each other, then simply don't respond to each other because i do see those comments too.

i've also considered just restarting it altogether, and even removing soojin as a character because she's gotten so many complaints but that's disrupting so many timelines, deleting so many ideas, deleting so many scenes, and it's also not fair to me either because i adore soojin as an idol and enjoyed writing her in my books. it's also not fair to the people who like soojin as well.

i also want everyone to consider that i'm not some sixteen-seventeen year old girl anymore. i turn twenty in a few weeks, and i work a part time job along with starting my second year of college soon. i don't have the freedom as much as i used to. i'm so much more busier now, and i don't really have the time to try and rewrite these books to please an audience, nor find the time to try and reread this book and see what i should make the next chapter about.

along with this, i've mentioned in the last chapter update of the author's note that i've fallen out of kpop, and i have by a lot. the groups i stanned have changed by so much, along with me not keeping up to date with other groups i used to once keep up with on a daily.

i've seen questions asking if people can have my account and take over my book and continue it, and i'm so sorry but i will not be doing that. i do not feel comfortable with a stranger on the internet having access to my account and writing 'in honor' of me. i'm still here, just not active anymore.

i do plan on becoming up to date with my 2min book once again, but i don't know how i feel with continuing this book, and like it's been for the past two-three years, i will continue to have it on hold.

i will try my best to at least write something for this book, maybe an ending chapter or try to complete it some how, but for now, it will remain on hold until i can think of something or regain the willpower of wanting to update and write this book once again.

i've made such good memories, and have interacted with so many sweet & angelic readers, but i've also been consumed with my life and have lost my motivation with this book.

thank you all for patiently waiting, and for those who will continue to wait for me, thank you for staying by my side and having faith in me that i will eventually come around.

i'm sorry that i've left you all in the dark for two-three years, and i'm sorry that this might not be the update some may expected or wanted.

i thank you guys again for the love and support and for patiently waiting, and i thank those who will continue to support me for their undying love for me. i do appreciate it from the bottom of my heart.
