"Where are we going?"

"It's a surprise!"

"Where are we going, Brandon?"

"It's a surprise."

"Brandon! Where are we going? Please!" I begged.

"Non ti preoccupare, dolcezza!" Brandon smirked.

(Don't worry about it, honey!"

"What?" I asked.

"What." Brandon mimicked.

"What did you say?" I asked again.

"Sei la mia vita." Brandon whispered.

(You are my life)

"Can you stop talking Greek or whatever you're talking." I rolled my eyes.

"Italian, belleza!" Brandon winked.

(Beauty)

"How do you even know how to talk Italian?" I asked him.

"From Alessio. He taught me a thing or two," Brandon shrugged.

"I see."

"So where are we going?" I said sneakily.

"Nice try mia cara, but I'm not telling you!" Brandon grinned mischievously.

(My dear)

Brandon and I were sitting in the Hawthorne personal plane. A waitress and a pilot with a co pilot were onboard with us but they'd made their presence scarce.

Liza, the air hostess, had served us some really good food and with some really expensive looking wine as soon as we had boarded our flight to location unknown.

"I'm tired," I said yawning.

"I'll show you the room." He said and helped me get the seatbelt off and then showed me to a massive luxurious room that was onboard. There was a large King sized bed, with a wardrobe along with a giant mirror.

"Aren't you tired, love?" I asked Brandon.

"I have work to do. I missed a lot of work while planning the wedding. I have to catch up on it." Brandon announced before he blew me a kiss and exited the room.

I sighed as I looked at the ceiling. I was officially a married woman and I had tied the knot, the second woman to in my group of friends although it seemed like Perla and Nicholas would be tying it soon.

I looked at the wedding band on my finger and smiled. It finally happened and although I'd been hesitant and nervous in the beginning I felt happy and... content.

My life seemed okay, I was getting on the right track and most importantly I felt like I was doing the right thing for me and I hoped that future me would be really proud of me.

In moments of weakness I would imagine that future me would regret the choice I was taking but now that it was done and dusted, the stress was over, I felt happy and realise that in no way was this marriage a mistake.

Brandon and I had been through a lot. They say spread love and no hate. A motto my cousin religiously follows is 'Don't hate. Meditate' which I find relevant in my life. Living a lofw of peace and being at peace with yourself and everyone around you is better than bearing grudges that do nothing but bring you down and force you to be the shell of who you truly are.

I grinned as I looked at my wedding ring and looked forward to the tan that it would bring.

"I'm never going to take you off!" I said to the ring and kissed it.
