Dino

[Dino's POV]

"Goodnight hyung!!" I said, waving to Seokmin as I walked in my room. I checked the time, it was already 12 am.

We've been practicing for our performance ever since 10 pm and we were just dismissed earlier at 11:30 pm.
Honesty, I'm pretty tired.

Gladly, we have a break tomorrow so I can sleep for hours!

I laid down on my bed, and slowly drifted off to sleep..

"Uh.. Hello?" I heard someone say. It's voice was soft but it sounded like it was cautious about something.

I groaned and opened my eyelids, seeing the bright blue sky making them squint after glancing at them. I covered the sky with my hand, fully opening my eyes afterwards and thought about that voice.. Wait..

Bright sky.. Unfamiliar voice..

I sat up and looked around. I was in the middle of a flowery field surrounded by a forest!

"How the hell did I end up here?!" I shouted. I saw someone flinch in the corner of my eye as I shouted. I turned to it and saw a girl there around my age, leaning on a tree while staring at me.

"So your awake huh?" She said. "My name's (Y/n). What's yours?" She added.

I tilted my head, "Why should I trust you?" I said, hugging my knees as I talked to her.

"This is only a dream dummy. It's not like we'll actually meet each other. Plus, you may not be real for all I know." She replied, resting her head on her palm which was on her knee.

"Same goes to you then." I said. "I'm Chan, but most people call me Dino." I replied.

She raised an eyebrow at my nickname. "Weird name but okay, I won't judge." She said, patting the side next to her.

"Come over here. It's getting hot over there. Get some shade." She said. I looked up, squinting at the light above. "Yeah, I'm comin'." I replied, standing up and walked over to her.

As I walked over to her, I noticed that she was actually wearing a skirt, not pants. I gulped, "H-hey, your skirt is up." I said.

She pouted, "Even if I placed them down. You'll still see my legs." She said. She has a point. She was wearing a short skirt so..

I shrugged. "Better than seeing your underwear I guess." I replied, she sighed in defeat and said, "Fine, I'll put them down."

She did as she said, she placed down both of her legs. She turned away from me, suddenly becoming uncomfortable and embarrassed about her stance.

"S-sorry. I'm not used to wearing skirts so don't mind me.." She said, arill not meeting my eyes.

I felt bad for her. Real person or not, she should be respected for her taste either way.

I looked at my outfit and I noticed I was wearing a jacket. I took it off and pkaced it on her legs to cover them. She flinched a bit and turned to my in shock.

"There. That should fix it." I said, smiling reassuringly to her. (Y/n) smiled sheepishly and looked down onto my jacket. "Thank you." She replied.

"No problem."

...

There was silence between the both of us. No one knew what to say to open up a proper conversation than just saying, "where are we?" or "this place is odd."

Suddenly, she coughed and looked at me. "How are you in real life? Anything odd going on?" She asked me. I shook my head as a no.

"My life is pretty normal. I'm an idol." I said, earning a praise from her. "Good for you. I'm just a high school student. I don't even know what I want in life." (Y/n) replied, fiddling with the string of my jacket.

"That's fine. Something will come up eventually." I said, trying to cheer her up. "Plus, if fate let us meet, I bet we'll be great friends." I added, making her smile a little.

"That sounds great." She said.

[Ding!] [Dong!]

"Hey.. What's that ringing??" I said, looking around for the source of that noise. She sadly sighed, "It's time to wake up." She said.

"Here's your jacket." She added, giving it back to me as she stands up. I stood up as well and faced her. "Will we.. Meet again perhaps?" I asked, hoping that we would.

She chuckled softly as she took a few steps closer to me, closing the gap as she cupped my left cheek and kissed my right. "I'd love to."

"Well. This is goodbye Chan."

She waved at me goodbye as she started to fade away from my view. I reached out to her, "Hey! (Y/n)! Wait—!"

"Wait!" I shouted, jolting up from my sleep. My bedroom door suddenly opened, revealing Joshua and Seungkwan hyung who were just beside my room.

"Hey are you okay Dino?? What's with the shouting??" Joshua hyung said worringly, sitting at the side of my bed. "Yeah, we heard it from the hallway. We thought something happened to you." Seungkwan hyung added.

"I'm okay guys. It was just.. A dream I guess.." I said, my voice suddenly dropping as I thought of the dream I had.

Usually, I forget my dreams as I wake up but this dream.. It stays in my head as if it's super glued to it and I can't pull it off.

"Oh okay. Just don't scare us again alright?" Joshua hyung said as he pat my back.

"Hey, we'll go take a walk around the city. Since you're awake, wanna come with us?" Seungkwan hyung asked. I stretched my arms. "Sure. I need a time out after all oue schedules." I replied.

"That's great! We'll wait for you downstairs." Seungkwan hyung said as he nudged Joshua hyung's shoulder, telling him that they should go down. Joshua hyung nodded and headed out with Seungkwan hyung.

"Hey look! There's some cool shirts in that store!" Seungkwan hyung pointed out. "Hey Chan. We'll just check it out. Wait for us here okay?" Joshua hyung said as I nodded in response.

"Okay! Let's go!"

I chuckled as those two went in. They are older than me but sometimes they act as little kids.

I turned to my front and saw a girl who was texting on her phone. She oddly looked familiar.. Due to my curiosity, I walked closer to the said girl.

It can't be..

"(Y/n)?" I suddenly blurted out her name. She looked up from her phone and took a look around her and her eyes met mine.

I can't be wrong.. It is her!

"No way.. Chan??" She said, suddenly becoming embarrassed just like whem we first met in that dream.

"The one and only." I chuckled.

"It's actually you! Uhm.." She chuckled nervously. "Sorry for uhm.. Kissing you back there." She apologized.

I smiled, "It's fine. I liked it anyway." I teased her. Her cheeks were suddenly red as I said that.

She shook her head, "Hey!"

"I'm just joking with ya! But seriously." I said, coming close to her. She was obviously nervous as she started to feel my hot breath on her ear.

"Next time. Go for the lips—"

"Hey Chan! Let's go!" I suddenly heard Seungkwan hyung from behind me. I turned to them and said, "I'll be there in a sec!"

"Meet me here again tomorrow. Let's get to know each other more." I said, winking at her before going to the two hyungs, leaving her speechless.

"Hey. Who was she? She looks unfamiliar to us." Joshua hyung asked as he took a glance at (Y/n).

"Well.." I coughed.

"She's.. Someone special to me."
