Part 14 - I'll miss you.

*Jay's POV* 

"I'm stuffed!" Megan moaned, throwing the pizza crust into the box, 

"You ate 2 slices Megs, that's hardly anything!" Jodie told her, resting her head on Nathan's chest,  

"I don't want to get fat" she muttered to herself, not quietly enough though. I reached over and poked her, 

"You're not fat! Alright? Good" I spoke quickly not giving Megan a chance to interrupt.  

"Hush up Jay" she mumbled, turning her attention to the film that was playing,  

"Boys!" the familiar voice of Jayne's rung through the house,  

"Alright Jayne!" Tom bellowed, running downstairs, Kelsey following, giggling as she did so. Jayne walked into the kitchen probably to make a cuppa, 

"I'm gonna go make a cuppa with Jayne, be back in a minute babe!" Jodie told Nathan, kissing his cheek as she pushed herself off the sofa, 

"You two are like super cute!" Michelle cooed from beside Max, Nathan hid his face as his cheeks started going scarlet red, 

"I would say stop Nath, but they're too cute to stop bullying him for!" Nareesha giggled, lifting her head of Siva's chest to talk. 

"Guys, stop with the embarrassment!" Nathan moaned covering his face with his hands. 

I noticed Megan get up off the sofa and wander off but left it.

 

*Jodie's POV* 

"Hiya hun" Jayne chirped,  

"Hiya!" I smiled, "Can I ask you something?" 

"Course!" She smiled, encouraging for me to go on. Right, here goes nothing. 

"Is it possible for Megan and I to fly out on Nathan's birthday?" 

"That's a great idea! He's been moaning how he'll miss you and blah, blah, blah. But if you call me when you get to the hotel I can come meet you, how about we have a mini party?" Jayne spoke rushed, 

"Sure!" I smiled, there was really nothing to be worried about.  

"Aw, you two are cute!" Jayne cooed, 

"Shh" I moaned, feeling my cheeks burning up. 

"Let's go and see what embarrassment they've caused Nathan..." Jayne giggled, her laugh was just as infectious as Tom's. 

"Thanks!" I smiled as Jayne handed me my cup full of the warm liquid.  

We made our way into the living room and carried on the conversation. 

"Where's Megan?" I mouthed to Jay, he shrugged his shoulders so I excused myself and wandered upstairs, needing to find Megan. 

"What do you want?" I found Megan! I stood outside the bathroom For a minute before knocking, the door slowly unlocked to reveal a tear-stained Megan. I smiled sympathetically, she opened her mouth and carried on speaking.  

"Now, listen to me. Leave me alone Harry, you ended it 4 years ago yet you want me now. No, I'm coping fine without and I definitely don't want anything to do with you now. So goodbye." She smiled automatically hanging up the phone. It was like she had just been given a new power to shut Harry out of her life. 

"Proud of you Megs" I smiled. After it all, she's shut Harry out of her life.
