It was early the Saturday morning and Maya was waking up.
It was here.
Her son is officially one year old.
She can't believe it.
How has one year gone by so fast?
It was around eight and Maya went to the living room.
Josh and Raven were just playing while Maya and Jax was still sleeping.

"Maya," Raven said and ran to her sister.
"Hello," Maya said and picked to two year old up.
"Were you and Josh playing?" Maya asked.
"Happy Birthday," Josh said and gave Maya a kiss.
"Thanks. I can't believe Jax is still sleeping. That's a miracle," Maya said.
"Yeah. Listen why don't we go do something? Neither of us have work and Raven doesn't have to be at daycare. Cory organized something for tonight so we have the day free," Josh said.
"Sure. What were you thinking?" Maya asked.
"Well why don't we go out for a picnic? We can go to the Central Park Zoo and later we can have a picnic while the kids are playing."
"Great idea," Maya said and heard Jackson cooing.
"I'll get him," Maya said.

"Hello. Morning Baby Boy," Maya said and picked Jackson up.
"You know what today is?" Maya asked and Jackson pointed to the calender.
"Okay let's go see. Ah. Its your birthday. Daddy is taking us to the zoo so why don't we get you dressed then we can go?" Maya said.

She got both herself and Jackson ready for the day and then they were off to the zoo.

Raven definitely enjoyed all the animals and Jax pointed to pretty much everything there was.
But the one thing everyone at the zoo was surprised about it the family.
Maya and Josh are parents to Jackson and Raven is her sister.
A twenty and twenty-two year old parents?
That was crazy to them.
But everything was so perfect that Maya didn't even mind any of it.
She just wanted to see that it was not about who they are but what.
Two young people who aren't just parents but raising Raven.
The day was too perfect for Maya.
