"Here," Pan started, tossing Anne a bundle of clothes, "these were yours. I found them and have washed them. You won't have to worry." They had just arrived to the cave and Pan seemed to already want to leave. "You can clean up over in the spring," he pointed to the cataract shooting out of the wall, "but make it brief--"
"In front of you?" Anne grew nervous. Pan then smirked.
"I was going to continue with 'I'm leaving' but that idea sounds better."
"No!" Anne snapped, making Pan then roll his eyes.
"I thought it was an offer," he explained, lifting a brow, "my mistake." He then lightly smiled. Anne didn't reply for a little while, debating in her mind. Her breath suddenly hitched as he made his way over to her.

Close enough to send jolts of excitement shooting to Anne's heart, Pan lifted one of his hands almost like he was going to caress her cheek. Instead, he slowly wiped some dirt off her shoulder. She released a breath. A snicker escaped his lips and he turned, walking. "Wait!" Anne called, racing after him to stop him. "You're leaving? Already?" She asked with an earnest look in her eyes. She didn't want him to go and he felt that. It wasn't because she wanted to bathe in front of him, of course not. But she felt safer if he were there.
"Is someone going to miss me?" he asked her, smirking again.
"Of course not," Anne lied. "But you're just going to leave me here?"
"Can't I trust you?" he asked in response.
"I'm scared. Why not take me with you?" she admitted. Pan glanced to the side, chuckling softly. "I mean it," Anne continued, lightly moving his face back to hers. If it had been anyone else touching Pan, he wouldn't put up with it.

She stared into his eyes, weakening him. He could see she wanted reassurance. He then cupped her cheeks. "You will be safe here, I won't be too long," he chuckled, "that's why I said you must clean yourself up briefly--unless you are still offering--"
"No!" Anne interrupted again, blushing and hitting Pan's chest lightly. "It wasn't an offer!" She blushed more.
"A shame," Pan pretended to frown and lent close, kissing Anne's cheek. She blushed harder. "Don't worry about what looks nice on you, they all fit good, I mean really good," he told her, smirking.
"What makes you think I care how they look? I'm not trying to please you," she replied.
"You used to try, and plenty." That was true. Anne never realized it but she was always debating what to wear before, and it wasn't for herself.
            "I doubt that," she protested.
"Oh?" Pan lifted his brows. "Then can you explain," his slowly lifted a finger and touched the verge of her shirt, "this?" It had been a low chest line. That might've been intentional. Anne looked down.
"An accident," she told him simply, looking back up at him.
"A very fortunate one for myself," he told her, smirking again.
"It's not that low at all, my eyes are up here Pan." She lifted his chin, moving his hand away. Before she could let go, he laced their fingers.
"Are you really sure about that?"
"Well if your eyes would stop exaggerating, you could look at the reality of it all. It was a bloody mistake," Anne then explained, annoyed and tried to pull her hand away. He wouldn't let it go. In fact, he took her other hand, lacing their fingers there. Anne's cheeks grew hot.
"What if I like them that way? And keep making mistakes, they give me something to look at."
"You're a pig and if I could slap you right now I would," Anne complained, trying to pull her hands free. Pan laughed.
            "Please, you'd do everything but."
"What, like this?" She went to knee him in between his legs until he stopped her. A hand free, she slapped him hard across the face. He suddenly vanished. Terrified, Anne looked around anxiously, panicking and ready to bolt. Suddenly she felt his essence and he was behind her. She froze. "I advise you start running," he spoke lowly into her ear.

And so she unfroze and was gone, a laughter bubbling over that couldn't be stopped.

She hopped up, catching a tree limb and pulled herself over. Hurriedly she climbed, never noticing Pan had teleported right below her and watched her effort. He enjoyed the view, watching her body move and work in such a swift, beautiful way. She made it to the very top, with just one limb to go before Pan finally teleported right above her.

Startled, Anne slipped and almost fell when Pan caught her around her lower back. With his arm, he pulled her up onto his lap and she struggled to catch her breath. More laughter, Anne was smiling wide. "You caught me, what are you going to do with me now?" she asked him bravely.
"How about everything else can wait and..." he brought his lips close to hers, "we play a game."

A.N. Ooh la la, what game do you think they're going to play? Excited? I hope so ;)
