Nathan, skylar, shawn and I were going out for a little tea party thing as it was skylars birthday a few days ago but we couldn't celebrate it properly because i had been away on tour.
I dressed skylar and kissed her chubby cheeks. I put her on my hip and walked down the stairs cautiously. "You girls are finally ready?" Shawn asked standing at the bottom of the stairs
"Yes we are." I replied in a baby voice
Shawn looked at skylar "that's too much skin chunky." He pinched her legs carefully
"Shawn." I playfully rolled my eyes. I looked at Nathan who stood by Shawns feet "you look so cute baby." He was in a white button up shirt and black pants matching Shawn.
"That must mean I look cute as well." Shawn flirted
I looked up at him and smiled. We looked at each other and had a "moment"
I cleared my throat and looked at the floor "come on, let's go." I needed to break this weird flirty sexual tension between us.

We were walking down the street. Shawn held skylars hand and I held Nathan's. We walked as Nathan sing a random song.
All of a sudden I felt Shawns arms around my waist. I didn't know how to react. We aren't even together , the only reason we are ever together is because of the kids. "Know your limit." I tired to say as politely as possible but I just sounded like a bitch.
"S-sorry." He moved his arm away
We had arrived at the little shop that the tea party was in and sat down in our seats.
The cakes were already laid out. This was genuinely more for me than it was for the kids but, whatever. It's fine.
I took a bit of the cake and placed it on the plate to help sky out.
I dazed off into my own world thinking about what it would be like if shawn and I were still together right now and if Hailey never existed. "You alright?" Shawm asked as he sat opposite me with Nathan
"Yeah, Are we all done?" I asked
"Yeah, do you want to go home?"
"Yeah." I picked my phone and skylar up
We got into the car and Shawns phone is ringing. He just let it ring out. "Aren't you going to pick it up?" I asked
"No, it's fine." He ignored it
We left it for a few seconds before I worked it all out "it's her isn't it." I broke the sound of the phone ringing
"I swear to god I don't know why she's calling me. Last time I saw her was when you and jack were seen at the park together."
"Oh you so have seen her since we haven't been together?" I raised my eyebrows
"Yes, but you had a boyfriend and we aren't together."
"Yeah, well at least I didn't cheat on you with him. Why would you carry on seeing her. You literally sent me a message saying you still loved me and want me back. If you really wanted that to happen you would've blocked her straight away." I raised my voice
"Can we not do this today?" He kept his eyes on the road
"Why do you always do this? It's a never ending ride with you." I exhaled "answer the call and don't tell her that I'm in the car with you."
"Don't do this Hannah."
"Fucking do it. If nothings happening with you guys."
"Okay." He mumbled while ringing her
The phone ring twice and she answered "hello?" Her annoying voice rung in my ears
"Hi, what's up?" He asked
"I was just wondering if we were still on for tonight."
"Of course" I whispered.
"I don't know what you're talking about. There was nothing planned." He said. It didn't look like he was lying. He looked serious.
"Oh." She giggled. "My bad. I'll speak to you later."
"Don't call me back. You've fucking ruined my family." He snapped out of nowhere making the kids and I shake. "Don't call me back." He ended the call
The rest of the car journey was silent and no one said a word. "Thanks." I got the kids from the back of the car
"I'll see you guys soon. Bye skylar, bye Nathan. I love you both." He told them "bye hananh."
"Bye." I smiled before unlocking the front door
