Shawn wrapped his arm around my waist as we both walked into the restaurant together. We got to the man who stood in a suit "name?" He asked us
"Mendes." Shawn said as he had booked my a surprise dinner for him and I because it was my birthday
"Follow me." He started to walk.
It was so beautiful. There was soft music playing in the back, and everything was lit by candles. "Here you guys are, someone will come over shortly to take your orders." He said while handing us two menus
We started to look through and started talking about what we were going to get. "How are we here without the kids? It feel so weird." The baby's were staying at home with my mum
"It's Nathan's birthday tomorrow," Shawn looked up at me "how crazy is that?"
"Our baby's turning two." I done a cry face
"He's growing up too fast." Shawn smiled
"Can I take your orders please?" A blonde haired lady came up to us.
"Yes, we will take two pastas." Shawn said
"Drinks?" She asked checking Shawn out, licking her lips, talking in a sexual tone, biting on her lips, doing the actual most.
"Two red wines."
"Is that all?" She asked Shawn not even giving any cares that I'm right here and I'm watching her
"That's all, thank you." He smiled
"Alright then." She put her hand on Shawns arm and rubbed it trying to feel like muscles , I raised my eyebrows at Shawn shocked and he flinched and laughed awkwardly.
She walked off and Shawn had gone bright red."tHat was so cringe to watch." I laughed
"That was uncomfortable."

We had finished our dinner and payed for everything. "Lets go then." I said to shawn picking my phone up from the table.
He looked over my shoulder "no wait." He quickly said
I could hear footsteps behind me. I turned around and saw the staff members of the restaurant singing happy birthday with a little cake in their hand. "You're so extra." I said over top of the whole restaurant singing happy birthday to me.
The placed the cake in front of me and Shawn joined in on singing happy birthday and took pictures while singing. "Blow our your candle."
I thought about what I wanted to wish for. I got my thought and I blew my candle out. "What did you wish for?" Shawn asked me
"It won't come true if I tell you." I winked at him
