Chapter 5: Secrets and Memories

James went inside of Sean's apartment and looked at the lunchbox with a sticky note.

"Sorry."

From: Apartment #13

"James, where did you get that?"

Sean and James were so drunk last night. The youngest guy immediately fall asleep on the couch, while James placed the lunchbox on the coffee table and went to sleep afterwards.

"I found this in your doorstep last night."

Sean read the note.

"Ooh.. the ahjumma next door... she apologized."

"Yes, I can see that." James sarcastically replied. "Why don't you open it, Sean? After all, this is for you."

"NOOOOOO."

"WHY??"

"What of it's a bomb? What if she wants to get back at us? What if that's prank?"

"Stupid!" James opened the lunchbox.

Sean eyed him curiously. "What it is?"

James sniffed it. An aroma of sweetness filled his nose.

"Honey-filled pancakes."

"Huh? She seriously thinks that's good enough for a peace offering? You can buy that on the street stalls."

"Yah! You can at least appreciate her effort. Besides, if you'll think of it, YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE THE ONE WHO SHOULD APOLOGIZE TO HER!!!" James answered. Somehow he felt annoyed by the younger guy's reaction towards the peace offering gift... whatever you call this food in front of them is.

"Home made pancakes. Eat it." James pushed a piece in front of Sean's mouth.

"Noooooo! What if it's poisoned?!"

"Seriously now?"

"No, you try it!"

James sniffed it once more and went to the kitchen.

"What are you doing?" Sean followed him.

"Heating it. It's best served hot."

"So how does it taste?" Sean asked.

James stood up and went to the living room, still holding the plate while munching a piece.

"Jamesss!"

He just looked at him.

"You don't want it, right? Thanks!" James said while eating.

"Let me taste it!" Sean couldn't help it anymore. He's curious.

James looked at him.

"NO."

"Yah! That's mine!"

"Not anymore!"

"Just a bite, James."

"I SAID... NOOOOOO!"

"I can sense that this is going to be a good day!" Brooke laughed inside her car.

"Goodbye Park Couture! Hello SB & Co.!"

Since Park Couture was handed down to her, she planned a year a ago to change it to SB & Co. For her, it's a form of rebellion and personalizing the business at the same time. She knows it's gonna be a big risk with Sam, who's a forever skeptic. But knowing herself, she wouldn't take no for an answer. Now that Charlotte and Misty joined them in thr business, they're now formidable
