You have a black stain where your soulmate is supposed to touch you for the very first time...

STORYTIME!

Kids surrounded him everywhere. Some had black palms, black pinkie fingers, black marks all along their faces, and black marks everywhere on his body. Where was his mark? Smack dab on his lips. Everyone always mocks him for having his soulmark there. "He wears black lipstick just to pretend", they say. "He doesn't really have  soulmate", they say. "Maybe he's ashamed of his mark, what a slut.", they say. But no. His soulmark is really on his lips. And that's why all around school, Virgil Had been known to be the boy with black lips.

" 'Sup fuckwad."

Virgil was shoved into a locker by some random student, forcing him to drop his sketchbook. Virgil was an art student and was really good with media such as charcoals and oil pastels. He quickly dropped down to grab his sketchbook, hoping nobody would see it. However, the bully stole it and looked through it, laughing at one particular picture. He showed it around, using Virgil to flush deep pink. What was the drawing? It was a realistic drawing of a pair of lips and a jaw, everything is black except for a rainbow pair of lips. Just as what should happen when Virgil meets his soulmate.

"Dude, what the fuck?! Hey! The slut thinks that his lipstick is goin goin to turn colors like his soulmark! What a fucking idiot."

He threw the book back at Virgil, who caught it desperately and tried his best not to cry. He picked up his bookbag and tried to hurry to his class. Much to his dismay, he wasn't going to art. He was stuck going to Chemistry. Luckily, the classroom was close. Virgil ran in and hurried to his desk in the back of the room. He slung his bookbag on the back of the chair. He took his sketchbook out and opened to a new page. Great. It was crinkled. Virgil took out a pencil and began sketching out something nice. Something... refreshing. Like two hands breaking out into a world of color.

The bell rang and student poured in desperately trying not to be late at the last second. Virgil didn't even bother to look up. Hands were always hard to draw for him. He needed the practice. Everyone sat down and the teacher went up to the front of the classroom. Virgil didn't bother to listen. He had an A in this class. However he kept an ear out just in case he had to actually do something for once.

"Class, we have a new student. I'd like you welcome Mr. Cobra into the school."

Just like that, another student walked through the door. Virgil looked up and instantly everything in the world began to slow down. He didn't pay attention to anything else. He dropped his pencil and stared, taking in every single detail about this person. They had black lips, dark as ink. They had broad shoulders and adorened themselves in yellow, green, and black. They had heterochromia and half of their face was wrinkled and burned as if a terrible accident had happened to them. There most important detail were those dark black lips. Virgil listened closely to every single word pouring out of his mouth.

"Greetings. My name is Dee Cobra. Before you ask, yes I am a man. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance~"

Virgil found himself standing up for no reason. He pushed his chair back and stood up, looking into his brown and yellow eyes. His heterochromia had to be the only hetero thing about him, right? Dee's eyes locked onto Virgil once he noticed him. Both of his eyes went wide. He must have saw his lips. There was a moment of silence. Everything else around the two seemed to fade away nothing else mattered. Virgil's heart left put of his chest. Dee was now a magnet. He didn't know him, but his brain was screaming "go to him".

Virgil found himself jumping over desks and sprinting to the front of the classroom. Dee met him halfway and instsntly their lips touched. Their arms followed, grasping eachother into a tight embrace. Color erupted from the two, gasps and whispered all around. "That's actually his soulmark?" "He wasn't lying?" "His soulmark isn't on his dick and he's not trying to cover it up?" Phones were out and  Operation Snapchat was a go. It was almost like the two boys didn't even need air. Virgil started crying. Finally. He tugged on the back of Dee's jacket. Finally. Finally finally finally.

The two pulled away and Dee gazed down at Virgil, who was much smaller and had way more stomach chub than him. Virgil wiped his eyes, curving his tie dyed lips into a wide smile. Virgil saw the rainbow glow of his soulmate's lips. Virgil couldn't take the distance the two made and jumped up, hugging him around his neck. Just as he wished, Dee wrapped his arms around his waist and held him close. Both boys had something to say, and both of them talked over eachother.

"Finally, you've found me. You're mine."

"I've waited so long to finally meet you. I've found you."

Silence all around. Virgil let the happy tears fall down his face. That's when someone stsrted clapping. Neither man knew who stsrted it, but soon the entire class stsrted clapping and cheering. It's always a big deal when someone finds their soulmate as early as Highschool. Dee grinned at Virgil and Virgil went in for yet another passionate kiss. They found eachother. Virgil's torment was over.

But what happens now?

Well, that answer is simple. They get to know eachtoher. They go on dates. They hug and kiss and hold hands. They watch the clouds and count the stars. They go to prom and homecoming and help eachtoher through the most stressful of times. They smile for the other and learn to love themsleves. They get engaged and follow that up with getting married. They adopt children and obtain the dream job they've wished for since they were children. They get to know eachother like the back of their hand. They grow old and wrinkly together and die together sleeping in the same bed, ready to share an afterlife in heaven and continue to live happily ever after like soulmates do.

Soulmates with rainbow lips.
