Variations of Love [LAMP +D]

If you don't know. The +D means Deceit is added too. The same rule goes for Remy's when you see +R. It's time to spread the love. Also the music video was uploaded yesterday. 

STORYTIME!!!

Every side has a different way of expressing their affections, Deceit has learned that after he became accepted as one of the Sanders Sides. It was after his redemption arc in the series did they realize that without Deceit, a lot of things that had happened in Thomas's life would not be. Even keeping a secret could be counted as lying.  That's beside the point, this is just the expositional paragraph. The point is that each side has a different way of expressing their love, and it is my job as an author to show you how that is in perspective of Deceit.

Patton was the lighthearted and childish side. Well, he is Morality. And he is the Dad of the group. Surprisingly, Patton wasn't the first Sanders Side to consider Deceit one of them. That title belonged to Logan. Patton still believes lying is wrong, but Logan and himself managed to convince him sometimes it is neccisary, anyways, Deceit was hanging out with Patton in the Imagination. There was a field from the memory that Thomas often has good dreams about that field, since he played there as a child. Lots of different daisies, lillies, and cosmos grew there. Patton loved to make flower crowns and Patton asked Deceit one go with him since all their other boyfriends were busy.

"Deceit! Look at what I made!"

Deceit was just staring off into space, enjoying wearing white instead of his dark colors. Another thing: ever since the alliance between him and some of the other dark sides we prefer not to mention, they changed his cape from black to white as we'll as his hat. You know, because sometimes little white lies are okay if you want to keep secrets or protect people. That was shown when Thomas had to lie to protect his trans friend who was still in the closet from her homophobic parents. Deceit focused on the smiling Morality side, who was holding up a flower crown intwinged with yellow and green and white, the three colors that make up his new color palette.

"Just for you! Wear it!"

He girly gave the flower crown to Deceit. Deceit looked at the flower crown a moment before smiling warmly. This was Patton's way of telling him that he loves him. Giving meaningful gifts. Gifts mean a lot to Patton, don't they? Gifts and spending time together. Deceit took his tiny, now white, hat off. He placed the hat on Patton and smiled warmly again at him. He let his deeper, kind of sultry voice take over in the conversation. It's much different than the higher pitched Dad's voice.

"Only if you wear my hat for a while, okay Baby Boy?"

Deceit calls literally all of them baby boy when he's alone with them. That's just Deceit being Deceit. Patton grinned with a little bit of honeyglow in his cheeks. Deceit took the flower crown and placed it on his head, similar to a halo that stopped hovering out of nowhere. Deceit hummed a little bit, enjoying the peace and the brightness of the dream. The saturation of the surroundings and cool color cast was much different than it would be in real life, but Deceit isn't have the heart to tell the truth about that to Patton. Let's let him live in his own fantasy world. Deceit looked back over at Patton, who as still squealing. Wether it was about him wearing Deceit's to or deceit wearing his flower crown, the world may never know.

"You look so adorable I love it!"

Patton was squealing like a fanboy at the flower crown, not wearing his hat. Deceit isn't really called adorable often. Half of his face is reptilian scales after all. Deceit stared at him a moment, arching his pink and expressive face beaming with joy. Deceit chuckled again with his deeper, suave voice. Deceit reached his hand over and booped his nose. Patron gasped and Deceit couldn't help but feel amused.
