Josie insisted on me staying in her and Lizzie room. They want to keep this from everyone, and if we're going to keep this project a secret, we need to keep people from suspecting anything. Josie also insisted on us waking up at 6:00 a.m. to read through the different books in the school. She did all the researching and found some important books that might be able to help us.

"Lizzie. Alexa. Wake up." Josie stands in the middle of the two beds switching from me to Lizzie trying to wake us up, but we roll over to the other side to ignore her. "Come on, guys." Josie semi-yells. Lizzie at me and I give her look telling her to go back to sleep.

She even tries to pull the blankets off us but we pull them right back and go to sleep. "Fine. Incendia." There is a fire on both sides of me and Lizzie. We're trapped in the middle of it and start to hurry out of the bed. When both me and Lizzie get out the bed, Josie puts out the fire and turns to us. A proud smile sits comfortably on her face. She's dressed with her hair and makeup already done. Books are laying out on the floor. Even though it's supposed to look messy, Josie somehow stills makes it look organized and neat.

After me and Lizzie get ready, we start to look through the books. There isn't anything in the books we searched through for the first hour, but Lizzie finds something. In order to get rid of the this curse, I have to go to the place I died at, lay down and have two powerful witches do a spell. Once the spell is done, I'll be fixed.

"Perfect! We just need to get the things needed and it's goodbye episodes." Josie and Lizzie hug and smile at me. I'm not too excited though. Nothing has ever came this easy for me. There has always been some sort of loophole. Some sort of pain that comes after.

"What if there is something bad that comes after? What if it's not so easy? What if-"

Lizzie scoffs while rolling her eyes. "Oh my gosh. Why can't be happy for once? You and Hope really do belong together."

Josie is searching through the book. She's trying to find something that mentions a price having to be paid. I'm patiently waiting for to tell me that there is something horrible that is going to happen. If there is one thing that I have learned about having a witch girlfriend and seeing magic around me is that magic always comes with a price. A price that someone else pays. No matter what I go through, nobody deserves to pay that price.

Lizzie snatches the book from Josie. "See? No price to be paid. Now let us help you and stop being a stubborn little-"

There's a knock at the door. Hope's voice is right on the other side. She tells us to open up the door, but we're figuring out where to put all these books. We throw some under the bed and in a few dressers. Josie whispers a spell to cloak all of the remaining books just in time because Hope uses her magic to unlock the door.

All three of us pretend to be debating over something on Lizzie's phone. An article about makeup pops up and we are all deciding on which makeup brand is the best. Lizzie and Josie on either side of me. Hope waits in the doorway laughing at us. We pretend to barely notice her until she clears her throat looking at me.

"You weren't in your room and I have to tell you something."

I quickly get up from between Lizzie and Josie. "Why? What's wrong?"

Hope gives me a confused look while still smiling. "Nothing. I just came to tell you that im taking you out somewhere. Tonight." She gives me a peck on the lips before waving at the twins and leaving.

Lizzie closes the door behind Hope and hits my shoulder.

"Ow! What was that for?"

Lizzie makes a duh face at me. "Uh I don't know." She goes back and sits down before standing back up. "Why? What's wrong?" Her voices sounds exactly like mine as she mocks me. That did make it seem like I was on edge. If none of this was going on, I would have never done that.

Josie stands up to and uncloaks the books. "Lizzie's right. Alexa, if we want to make this work we need to make sure Hope or no one else finds out. They'll try to stop us and if you want to get better you don't need that." Even with their jokes and mockery, the twins are right. After we do this spell there will no longer be the stares of the girl who was broken. I just need to make sure everything happens accordingly.

Throughout the rest of the day, I talk with Landon and Rafael in my room. Lizzie and Josie are going around the school looking for the ingredients needed. They said the best thing to do was to stay calm and relax.

It's quiet for a moment and my mind starts to race. My heart is beating faster too. "It's getting boring in here. We should go outside."

Landon and Rafael looked shocked at my sudden need to go outside, but they nod. Outside, there is a soccer game going on. We watch the kids use their magic to beat the other team and vice versa.

"Okay this isn't my sort of thing Alexa, and I didn't think it was yours either." Landon has been on his phone the entire time. Only looking up when people hand out snacks or someone scored. Rafael went out to play with the other students and he get frustrated everytime he misses a goal or get the ball taken from him.

The game helps keep my mind somewhat distracted, but as the sun goes down I already know what's to come. Lizzie and Josie told me to meet them in the middle of the grass area at 12:00 a.m. That way everyone will be asleep and it'll be way past curfew so no one will be over here.

The sun sets just as Rafael makes a goal. Everyone is cheering including me because he made the winning score, but deep inside i'm terrified for later.
