The Uber stops outside of this huge house. Hope told me that it belonged to her dad, but than her adoptive brother took over. Now it's just there. The Mikaelsons still own it. It's just nobody lives here anymore.

Hope tells me about the different colors the house is. Sometimes it's brown other times it's green.

Right now it's a dark green color. Hope stops as soon as we walk through the door. She makes this pained expression, and it looks as if she might cry. Her suitcase drops out of her hands.

"This was the last time I seen my dad. We had said goodbye before he um..."

She trails off. Her eyes wonder to the walls and the furniture ahead of us.

I pick up her suitcase as she leads me through the house. A few times she smiles and other times her expression hardens. She takes me into the dining room.

"A lot of memories in here. After my mom died, I blamed my uncle. Me, my aunt freya, and my dad were eating breakfast when my uncle had walked through this door. I had left as soon as he walked in. This was also the last time me and my family were all together."

Hope walks around the table touching the chairs. She stops at two of the chairs. It's obvious why. That's where her and her dad had sat. A small smile comes across her face.

"I'll show you upstairs." Me and Hope walk back through the living room. There's a huge M imprinted on a wall. There's four on each wall.

"Mikaelson?" We both state at the M. It has this huge power. That letter is powerful. It holds a certain amount of power that nothing else could touch.

Hope nods and sighs a little. "Yeah. Mikaelson. People think that we're this horrible family, but we're not. We're not that bad."

I look around the living room while Hope stares at the name. It's not the typical American living room. There is chairs everywhere and it seems more like a patio than a living room. The gate to outside is visible. The walls aren't modern. You can tell that this place is old.

Hope told me that her family have been living here for centuries.  Her brother and dad had fought over this house and city for years before they decided to share.

The upstairs of the house is just as nice as the first floor. The bedrooms are huge and a few have balconies. Hope takes me through one of the rooms and we stand on the balcony.

"My mom and dad had got mad at each other one time. My mom had left and moved in those apartments. She lived with my stepdad Jackson. Dad hated it, but in the end they forgave each other."

She smiles as she finishes the last sentence. "Did you ever wish your parents were together? Like married?"

Hope thinks for a moment. She stares intensely at the apartments before smiling at me.

"When I was younger. I always thought my dad would come back and my mom would fall in love with him. As I got older, it was okay for them to not be together because we had something better: Always and Forever."

"Always and Forever."

Those three words had only started with three people. It was Klaus her aunt, and Elijah. They had made that vow over a thousand years ago. Now it branches out so much. Every single Mikaelson says it. No matter if they're blood related or not.

Hopes old room is not far from the room we were just at. It looks like a teenagers room. A bed, a mirror, a huge dresser. Her room also has a balcony.

"Ah, I've missed this room. You can set the bags down right there."

I slowly let go of the suitcases. Even the tiniest sounds are heard.

There's another room that hope used to live in. It seems a little older for a kid. There's a huge bed and mint decorations.

"This was my moms room, but than it became mine. My mom had sat right here, brushed my hair, and told me about the school. I knew what she was trying to do. Make me excited about something else so that I wouldn't think about my dad having to leave again."

There's a door that looks like it leads to a closet, but inside of it you can see a baby crib. A rocking chair is in the corner and a self full of baby things.

"Let me guess: this was yours?" We walk through the room and Hope laughs.

"Yeah. My dad had built this for my mom to show her that he did care about me. That he cared about me and her."

The room still looks somewhat new. The walls are a little old, but other than that it looks like a good room.

The silence is broken by two cars crashing outside the house. Some people start to scream. Others pull out their phones and call 911.

Hope runs out of the house and I follow her.

Outside, a group of people are surrounding the person. A little kid is holding the persons hand and looks sad. It's a woman. Her shirt is soaked in blood and her hair is too.

"We need to give her some space, so I can help."

Hope runs over to the girl and uses a pin in her pocket to poke herself. The blood of a vampire could heal any wound. A drop of blood falls into the lady mouth and she starts to heal.

The ambulance arrive and they look so shocked to see the girl fully healed. She smiles and thanks Hope. People look at Hope as she stands.

"Hope Mikaelson." A guy with jet black hair and a huge smile walks up to us. He extends his arms. "Long time no see."

He hugs Hope and they both laugh. "Um, Vincent this is Alexa, my girlfriend. Alexa this is Vincent, family friend. He's the one that helped your brother find his mom."

I walk up to him and try to shake his hand, but he hugs me instead. "Thank you for helping my brother."

He nods. "You're welcome. Well, I'm not going to hold you guys long. Just came to say hello. Make sure you visit me before leaving again."

Vincent starts to walk away. Hope takes my hand and starts to walk inside of the house. Some people still stare at her weirdly but most move on away from the whole scene. It's weird. They just seen magic, yet they don't question it. I guess I shouldn't question why that is.
