The sight of blood never bothered me. It wasn't like I was obsessed with blood, but if I seen it I wouldn't be disgusted.

Hearing how the blood started gushing out is a different story. Nobody wants to hear how they started bleeding or hear the blood running through their body and to the open cut.

Hope cuts her hand casually. We had been bickering about her using some of her blood to save me. She won and here we are. The knife sliding against her hand, blood rushes out.

"Better?" Hope stares at me happily. I nod and stare at the empty cup that was just filled with medication. Honestly, I feel no different from when before this spell. It didn't do anything.

Today, we leave New Orleans. Rafael and Landon has been calling me non stop. Always putting emphasis on me coming back from the dead. Each time I think about the pain I felt and my fear. It was the worst thing I've ever felt.

"You okay?" There's a hand on top of mine. Hope's hand. She rubs her thumb over my hand while staring at me intensely. I've gotten used to her stare. It makes her more attractive, so her stare is one of my favorite things.

"What? Oh. Yeah. Yeah. I'm fine." She gives me a weird look. I didn't lie good enough. "I'm fine, Hope. Don't worry."

She smiles at me brightly before walking off to the room. I stay in the kitchen and lean my head on the counter. The room feels like it's spinning and my head feels so dizzy. There's a sharp pain in my sides that caused me to sit down on a nearby chair. The herbs that went down my throat feel like they might come back up.

I try to not to make too much noise. Hope doesn't need to keep worrying about me. Everyone doesn't need to worry about me. They're only worried because I came back from the dead. It's not that huge. It's nothing to worry about.

"Alexa? Babe? Hey." The touch of Hope's hand on my lower back makes me snap out of my thoughts. She looks at me in the eyes and than at my hand. I'm gripping the counter hard. A cut starts to form on my hand and I start to bleed.

"We need to get you back to your brothers."

The flight back to Mystic Falls is filled with Hope checking on me every five seconds. She doesn't listen when I tell I'm fine. Inside of the airplane, it isn't as bad as the outside. The outside is a dirty white. Mud stains and other strange colors fill the outside, but the inside has clean seats and TVs.

Hope falls asleep on my shoulder, but she springs up as soon as the plane lands. Alaric is sitting outside of his Jeep with his hands in his pockets. He nods towards the flight attendant and she smiles at him.

"How was the trip?" Hope looks at me with a smile before saying, "good"

In the car, Hope tells Alaric about the trip to New Orleans. She obviously doesn't tell him everything but a lot of the things that happened were huge. My episode, the woman in the car accident, seeing Vincent, and just the over all feeling of being in her family home.

Landon, Lizzie, and Rafael wait at the gate for us. Alaric doesn't get through the gate all the way before Lizzie runs up to the car.

She opened the car door. I'm laying down in the backseat. Hope turns around and frowns at Lizzie.

"She needs her rest, Lizzie. Leave her alone."

Lizzie looks at Hope and rolls her eyes. "She was just dead, Hope. She got all the rest she needs for a lifetime."

Alaric and I chuckle at the comment before Hope gives a death stare. Landon and Rafael walk up to the car too. One of them opens up the door my heading was on causing me to follow out of the car a little. An upside down Landon looks at me shocked.

"I'm so sorry." He tries to hold in his laugh, but doesn't do a good job. The others are already laughing.

"Just for that you have to carry me to my room."

Landon stomps in his space like a three year old being told no candy, but he agrees to carry me. While walking through the school he struggles and grunts. Students chuckle as we walk past them.

Lizzie opens the door for Landon and he sets me on my bed. I'm laying across the bed with my eyes closed.

"Okay goodbye." The sound of heels walk deeper into my room. Landon doesn't move he still stands panting for breath. "Come on you 90s hobo. Me and your sister have important business to discuss."

Landon starts to walk out of the door and closes it. Both me and Lizzie wait for the sound of his shoes go away from the door. Once we don't hear him, I spring up and Lizzie hops onto my bed.

She grabs my hand and has a huge smile on her face. "Okay. Spill."

I tell Lizzie about me and Hope's trip. She asks a lot of questions and my answers are long. We talk for about a hour and a half. This is what I needed. Lizzie is the only one treating me normal. Everyone has been looking at me like I'm broken. Like a Barbie doll who just got her head ripped off and now their trying to put me back together.

But now I feel like a regular fifteen year old telling her best friend one of the most important things that could happen. It feels good to not only talk about my parents, Magic, or being a wolf. It feels good to just relax and spill about me and my girlfriend. It makes me happy.

Lizzie is the only person I know that feels broken too. We talk about why we feel broken. I tell her I've been feeling broken lately because of how people treat me. Always asking what's wrong with me or telling me I need help. Lizzie tells me about the medication that she sometimes take to help her feel better, but medication doesn't really help.

"Hey, let's lighten up the mood."

I give her a confused smile and she gives me a daring smile. "How about one of our famous pranks? Come on, we can be Batman and Robin."

This prank could help me feel better. It could also help me feel normal because I'll be an immature teen who will get in trouble by the principal. After a few seconds, I nod. "Let's do it."
