Chapter 24

Katie's Pov

Once I walked in I saw all the boys with Dora party hats on and the place was decked out with Elmo, disney princess, and more Dora decorations.

"WELCOME HOOOME!" The screamed well throwing streamers at me.

I giggled. "Thanks guys. This means a lot." I smiled.

"Don't thank us, it was matts idea." Shawn said.

I turned to Matt who was blushing.

"Thanks Matt." I simply said.

Right now I didn't know what to think.

That's super sweet and all but he has to do just a little more for my forgiveness.

I saw that they even got food...

Wait food.

There was a cake, cupcakes, chips, pizza, and punch.

A fat girls dream.

I went straight for the cake.

It was my favorite

Cookie cake. Am I dreaming?

I started eating a socializing. I noticed jack g was with a girl. So being me, I walked up to them and introduced myself.

"Hi I'm Katie." I smiled sweetly.

"I know who you are dumb fuck." Jack g said.

"I wasn't talking to you, I was talking to this lovely lady here." I started to wiggle my eyebrows.

"Hey my names Payton." Wow.

Talk about gorgeous.

She had red lose curls with bright hazel eyes.

She had on a plain gray tank top, a flannel tier around her waist, ripped up high waisted jeans, and combat boots.

Something I would wear except she's a little more edgy.

me and Payton started talking about girl stuff until jack left.

"Ok are you and jack a thing." I said as soon as he left the room.

"Well... We've been on a couple dates but, he hasn't dropped the question yet." Said responded.

"I hope it works out with you two cause you guys are just the cutest thing ever." I laughed.

It felt so good to actually talk about this kinda stuff with someone.

I could tell that me and Payton would be great friends.

"So are you and Matt a thing." She said with a smirk.

I choked on my punch when she said that.

"Oh my gosh Katie are you ok?" She said trying not to laugh.

"Sorry I was just taken back by that question." I fake laughed.

"So are you? Since he planned this welcome home to you." She laughed with me too.

"Oh no were just.. Friends. Yeah friends." I confirmed.

"Whatever you say Katie." She said well sipping her punch.

We continued to talk until I looked outside and it was pitch black.

Time flies when your having fun.

Payton saw me looking out the window and said, "wow it's getting late. Wanna hang out tomorrow?"

"I'd love to! Here I'll write down my number." I wrote down my number to her.

"Ok thanks Katie. It was so nice to meet you!" She gave me a tight hug.

"You too! Now go have fun with jack." I smirked and waved as her and jack got in his car.

Everyone else left except Nash who was spending the night.

I went to go take a shower. I just realized that I'm still in my rape clothes... Lovely.

I took a shower and it felt like heaven.

I washed my hair 3 times and shaved.

Once I came out I felt great.

Well that is until I looked at my wrists.

My cuts.

I forgot all about them for the past couple days.

What is the boys see them?

I'm gonna have to cover them up. That would be easy, right?

I grabbed some gray sweats and a powder blue crop top and put my hair in a messy bun.

After that I quickly took my attention to my cuts. I covered them up and went downstairs.

Once I did I found Nash and Cameron watching a scary movie.

Nash and cam were huddled together in the same blanket holding each other.

The funniest part was that the movie was Carrie...

I decided to give them a sample of who I was and what kind of a friend I am.

I snuck up from behind them and once Carrie got the big blood all over her at prom, I took one hand on each of there shoulders and screamed, "ITS CARRIE."

They literally jumped out of there seats,with popcorn flying everywhere.

I ducked down behind the couch trying to hide. My arms hit the couch so I hope it wasn't noticeable.

"What the fuck was that?" Nash's voice was so shaky.

"I.dont.know." Cam said between breaths.

They looked at each other hugged. I tried to hold my laughter.

There walked to the kitchen without letting go of the hug. When they came back, Nash was holding a knife and Cameron was holding a... Spoon?

They still didn't let go of the hug, so I decided to surrender.

"Guys." I said well popping up from the couch.

"AHHHH!" They quickly tired to me with wide eyes.

"It was just me, you guys are so stupid." I laughed well walking into the kitchen.

They followed me still wide eyes.

"Uh guys? What's your problem?" I asked well grabbing Nutella and a spoon.

"Your wrists." Cameron said with a shaky voice.

I looked down...

And there they were.
