(Okay, so from here on in I'm just going to stop giving sexual content warnings because occurrences like that may be increasing in frequency)

Vienna is smirking and Pavel wants to know why. He turns to her and she kisses his cheek.

"Do you think it's time we have this conversation? I don't know where you stand. If you're willing to talk about it I'd like to know more."

"I don't know where I stand," he admits, sitting up a little. "I feel like I'm more nervous than I should be..."

"I'm nervous too Pavel. Neither of us have done anything like that before. It's a little daunting. I just... I love you. I think we'd both enjoy taking that next step. As I said last night, it may still be later down the track but I want to have this conversation anyway. What were you dreaming of in particular?"

"Well," he says, thinking how to phrase what he's thinking about. "I was dreaming of us... We were back in my room in Russia. We were... We were ah, well, grinding against each other but we were both naked. You started... You started..."

"Started what?"

"I don't know the English," he admits, his cheeks burning. "Um, let's say instead you were... You were using your mouth..."

"And then what happened?"

He shrugs, his cheeks already warm enough and his lips unable to finish the rest of the dream. He wonders if she feels as dirty talking about it as he does. He runs a hand through his hair and she tells him not to worry. He nods and she kisses his cheek, laying back down.

"Maybe if it's still hard for us to talk about then we're not really there yet. It might take a little more time Pasha."

He nods because he knows she's probably right. He's glad he doesn't have to tell her the rest of his dream, though one part of him really wants to. He wishes he had a set opinion on how he felt. She gets up to go to the bathroom and he sighs, looking back up towards the ceiling.

Pavel stays in bed for longer while Vienna gets up to study. He wants to go back to sleep and clear his headache before trying to continue with his day and Vienna doesn't seem to mind. She has plenty to try and catch up on with the new hybrid class and though it feels like the term only just started, she feels just as behind as last semester. She tells herself she needs to keep working hard through the morning and she make a lot more progress.

Vienna's studying when a visitor shows up. Erik asks where Pavel is, and she tells him he's still sleeping. He nods, though his face still holds a vaguely concerned expression. She lets him in and asks if he's alright. He just nods, swallowing.

"I came over to apologise about last night. I'm guessing Pavel gave a bit of context but what you said what a reference to this song... I know that you didn't mean anything by it. It just reminded me of Jezzie and it was around this time she passed. It's always hard for me this time of year."

"I'm sorry I brought that up for you."

"Don't apologise, Vienna. It's just bad timing. I was thinking last night, we get a midsemester right? A week long. I've already talk Selwyn and Saxon into it but you remember how I'd tell you about going to my aunt and uncle's farm and drinking with Pavel? I want to take everyone out there for a few nights. We can take heaps of junk food and forget about studying for a little while."

"That sounds really good. I'd love to get away again for a little while."

Erik smiles and tells her she has to talk Pavel into joining. She doesn't think it'll take much convincing. He leaves to go ask Hikaru about it and she apologises again before he goes. He gives her a thankful smile.

She goes back to find Pavel still asleep and she puts her PADD down, joining him for a while. She repeats Erik's idea and he seems excited by the prospect. He wants to sleep under the stars again and stay in a tent with Vienna. He misses the serenity of the farm and how nice it was just to talk about everything on his mind for a few days.

"We should take a picnic blanket and go for a walk from the rest of the group. It would be nice laying under the sky for an hour or so with just the two of us. It's about time we just did nothing but talk for a while."

"I'd like that," Pavel says. "I love the idea of laying under the stars. Especially with you."

She smiles at him and cuddles up close to his chest. He kisses her head and mutters something about his headache. He tells he loves her and she smiles, giggling and putting her hand on his chest.

"I love you Pavel. We should stay here a little longer. I know I should be studying but I'm so comfortable here with you."

He smiles and kisses her cheek, telling her to stay a little longer with him.

They stay for a long while and kiss slowly. His hands are in her hair and hers rest on his shoulders. Time passes quickly and they stay until they get too hungry to continue. They eat together and laugh, thinking of the times that lie ahead.
