We sat under a tree in the shade. Mike and I had snuck away from the party to get some alone time.
"So-I-Uh think you look good today-" I smiled at Mike's comment. "No I mean you look good everyday."
I laughed with Mike. He turned flustered a tiny bit, but it was cute. Mike and I laid on the grass for what felt like I've spent 100 years in heaven without aging.
"Do you think they're l-looking for us?" I asked, turning to face Mike.
"Nah. Even if they were, would we actually go with them?" I shook my head and laughed.
