Chapter 78

29th November 2021

I walked around the living room with Nathan screaming and crying on my shoulder. "It's okay baby.." I walked to the kitchen to make him a bottle.

I heard shawn walk into the living room with sky who was also crying as she had been woken up Nathan screaming. "She's hungry!" Shawn shouted

"Here, take Nathan, and please finish the Bottle off while I feed sky!!" I walked to Shawn and swapped over the babies

I sat down on the sofa and took my boob out to feed sky. She instantly started feeding she started making loud gulps. "I'm so sorry you had to wait so long mama.." I rubbed her head.

"I think he's teething." I said as Shawn sat down next to me trying to put the bottle in his mouth but he kept on pushing it out of his mouth.

"Come on.." Shawn said in frustration then ran one of his hands through his hair.

"Shawn, just be patient, he cant help the pain.." he gave him a look because he was being mean.

"I'm tired." He excused

"Yeah, so am I. You're not up every two hours of the night to feed, you're only up not even once a week for Nathan, this is the first Time in a like three weeks he's gotten up in the middle of the night."

"Whatever." He muttered under his breath and rolled his eyes.

I looked down at sky and saw she was done. "I'm sleeping in Nate's room, give me him and take sky to bed." I said

"Why?" He looked up at me as I had my arms out for Nathan

"Because youve annoyed me." "Just give me him and take skylar." I quickly added him not letting him to make him sleep with him

"What about skylar? You're going to have to be near her for her next feed."

"Her next feed is going to be at 6:30, I'll be up by then because I doubt Nathan's gonna sleep a lot. I'll just take her out of the room." I took Nathan and placed him on my hip.

"K." He took his phone out and started going through his emails

"night love.." he said as I walked up the stairs

"Night Shawn.."

I woke up to Nathan's foot in my mouth and his hands across my leg. Oh the joys of sleeping with a one year old.

I slowly peeled away from Nathan and got Shawns robe that was hanging from the door and wrapped it around me.

I crept into Shawn and i's bedroom and saw skylar sleeping on shawns chest. He cradled her little body protecting her at all costs.

I crawled over and tapped shawns shoulder "should I take her and you can get some actual sleep or should
I just leave her with you?" I whispered in his ear

"Join us.." he muttered and whispered "unless Nathan is already awake."

He opened out his arm for me to get in. I laid down and he pecked the top of my head. I looked at skylar and admired her features. She was literally the most perfect and beautiful baby I had ever seen. "Is nathan Okay?" Shawn said snapping me out

"Yeah, sleeping with a toddler is like sleeping with a drunk octopus." A soft chuckle left mine and shawns mouth

"I'm sorry for being a bit of a dick last night"

"It's fine." I rubbed his arm "go back to sleep."
