into the woods

In the sea of strangers,
I swim
Hoping to meet
someone,
in my missing piece
would fit

In that wonder,
I'd wandered.
Sailing
the uncharted sea of strangers.
Wide.
Wider than I thought.
So wide
that I almost lost the track
of my journey.

Perhaps...
The reason
why I can not find
that person in the sea
Is because
he is actually
out there
in the woods

And perhaps...
That person knows me.

Because
that person
is not a
stranger at all

He is
just someone
I tried to forget.
