Can you teach me the art of breaking a heart?
So I can be a subject to someone’s poetryCan you teach me how to break a wall
So I can be the reason why someone needs to rebuild it againCan you teach me how to sing a serenade?
Then leave once someone’s already attachedCan you teach me how to make someone cry?
So I can be a target to someone’s cursesCan you teach me how to be someone who cried love?
So I won't be the one crying my heart outI wanted to learn your art of breaking me
For I was too tired
Tired of heaving deep breaths
And scribbling deep words on my padMy broken pieces danced in the hymn of your broken melody
The sharp edges creating cuts on my skinMy shattered pieces are your trophy
My tears are your prizeAnd now I sat on the corner
Wishing the pain would soon disappearDear deity,
You should've never let me met
The boy who cried love
