A while after Shadow entered the Rift he would be transported to the Otori Forest.

Shadow: So were here damn so the first thing i notice is no Shares alright well i guess i can access my HDD fine by me where to start i guess first things first i need to find a way out of here.

Shadow would start to explore a bit get a better understanding of where he is after a while he would find a way out.

Shadow: Great if im honest these forest seem a tad different form the ones in Hyperdimension but the monsters not so much so ill take it as most areas are a tad different ok i cant be that far from Planeptune then lets go.

After a While the morning would hit afternoon Shadow would of finally gotten to Planeptune.

Shadow: Damn those guards on the outside were annoying not letting me in because of my ears and tail what the hell was that for i know even Plutia wouldn't take this maybe its just some random civilian trying to cause a outbreak or maybe there is some more to this.

After walking down the street a while longer he would of heard a scream of a girl down the ally Shadow being Shadow would go over and check what the hell's going on when he would get there he would see a few guys beating on a young girl with fox ears and a tail as dark as midnight.

Shadow: What the hell are you doing!

???: Ohh new around here seems like you dont know your place you better get going before we put you in your place.

Shadow: Yeah right look bud you better just leave because im not in the best mood now after seeing this and i will not pull my punches with you.

???: Fine you win besides animal your not worth our time we humans are better then you.

Shadow: Hmm just get out of here.

The guys would leave and shadow would walk over to the girl and put his hand out for her to grab it but she would flinch.

Shadow dont worry im not  here to hurt you besides we need to stick together this is bs how this is.

The girl would look up with her hair covering half of her face and her eyes.

Yuma: Y-you have a tail and ears like me b-but why did you help me so many have been scared to.

Shadow: Because its not right no one should suffer like this for something they cant help just come with me ill make sure your safe whats your name?

Yuma: Im yuma who are you mister.

Shadow: Just call me shadow so are your ears and tail are they fox ears and a tail if im honest there perfect dont let anyone take that from you.

Yuma: R-really?

Shadow: Yeah lets go i need to speak to Plutia about this.

Yuma: ok *Grabs shadows hand and gets up*

Shadow: Well yuma we need to get a place to stay and i need to get you some clothes they ruined your clothes to damn what were these guys trying to do with you.

Yuma: i-i rather not talk to about it.

Shadow: *Hugs yuma* dont worry i get it just i wont let that happen what a world this is.

Yuma: *Blushes and tears up*.

Shadow would take her to Plutia's Basilicom  to see Histoire.

Shadow: Hey Histoire oh your smaller here,

Histoire: Oh Plutia told me about you your Shadow correct. 

Shadow: Yeah so what the hells been going on with people pretty much being evil to people with ears like mine and a tail.

Histoire: Indeed this has been a problem and we are trying to fix it but people seem to be not willing to say yes to peace.

Shadow: Hmm well i found this young lady getting attacked by some guys because of her ears and tail so mind giving her some new clothes because they tore it up.

Histoire: Ok we will get that handled soon.

Yuma: Thank you.

Histoire: Dont worry about it just stay with shadow and he will keep you safe.

Yuma: Ok thank you mister Shadow.

Shadow: *Pats her head* no need to call me mister just call me Shadow.

Yuma: Ok

Shadow: Dont worry to much besides im a cpu its only right to protect the weak and i will change this with my own hands.
