"Where is the sanity?"

•Sinna Swan•
❄️
Once again, I'm borrowing another pair of clothing. This time, belonging to Rosalie. The clothing choice was a little bit more out of my comfort zone, but wearable never the less. My curls falling over my shoulders

I look at myself in the full length mirror, examining my legs

I look at myself in the full length mirror, examining my legs. Their paleness. And then laughing at myself quietly.
I see Jasper come up behind me. He wraps his strong arms around me. Placing his has on mine. "You look beautiful, my forever." I shift a little. The words had made me only a little uneasy. My mind had forced calmness over me. I turn, so that I am facing him.
"Why don't I feel like we are moving to fast?" I question him. "Are you... Are you..-" He cuts me off. "My gift doesn't work like that Sinna. It's just a connection, we are made for each other." I smile, still not understanding. I just assumed, maybe it would come with time. He looks at me, his eyebrows furrowing. "I just don't understand why your eye color hasn't changed." I shrug. My voice coming out light. "I don't know. Come on."
I smile, coming down the stairs. Where his family stands. "As much as I hate to admit it. You look beautiful in my clothes." Rosalie manages. I thank her.
"We'd like to see what your gift is, if you don't mind." I look at Jasper shaking my head. "No, I'd like to know as well." Alice steps towards me and grabs my hands.
When she backs away, she looks at Rosalie. "She, She can recreate. Her body works as if it was alive. She's never going to loose her humanity. She could live off human food if she wanted."
Rosalie's eyes turn dark. "Great. So you get turned, and you still get a perfect life." She runs off. "Rose wait-" I try, but she'd already left. "I'm sorry, I don't know what I did. Is there anything I can do?" Esme shakes her head. "No, Rosalie. She prefers human life. It's hard for her. Especially to accept your change, with... little change." I purse my lips. Still feeling bad. "I'm going to take Sinna on a walk." I question what Jasper said. But follow him out the door.
We walk in silence, until I speak up. "Did you ever want a family Jasper?" His eyes look empty as he analyzes my question, and then looks down as he answers. "Uh, no. Not as a major. It was- to hard of a lifestyle. When I got changed. I never thought about it. I thought I'd be impossible for me." I smile. "That's how you know so much about the Civil War." He chuckles lightly nodding. I hesitate before saying what I do. "It's possible now." He stops, lifting me. Quickly, but gently pushing against the tree in front of us, before letting me land back on my feet. A small smile on his face, almost in amusement.
"You ask me about if we are moving to fast, but we are talking about a family now?" I look down, blushing at my heels. "I guess so." He lifts my chin. Giving me a reassuring smile. I wrap my arms around his neck. "We'll have a family. One step at a time." I nod at him, as he pulls me into a hug.
