Your POV

Don't you just love waking up with a full on cold? Well that's what happened to me. I woke up at around 3am feeling a little off but now I've woke up at 9am I was feeling like rubbish.

Sore throat, freezing cold, achy and the worst headache. Not a good start to the day. Especially when my boyfriend was coming home today after being in America for a few months which also means I won't be able to see him till this bloody cold goes away.

I decided to message him now before I forget

Me:
So conveniently I've woke up really ill so don't think it's safe for you to come round :( hope you get home safe xxxx

I put down my phone and groaned into my pillow, why out of all days did I have to come down with something today? Just why?

I really wanted to see Thomas as well which is the main reason why I annoyed and upset.

I decided to try get some more sleep as i ñow had noting to do with my day now.

I woke up again at 12pm feeling a little worse so I got up and hunted for some tablets to ease the headache as it was making me feel dizzy urgh

Anyway I found the tablets and checked my phone to see if he saw my message. He left me on seen. Weird. I then started to panic, what if he didn't believe me and thought it was just a excuse for me no to see him, he might break up with me

Darn you cold.

I was just about to go to bed when there was a knock at the door.

I sighed and called 'its open' while I went back to my bed and tried to get warm

I heard the door close shut then realised the mistake I made, what if it was a robber?

"(y/n)?" A familiar voice called out

A wave of happiness over came and I jumped up with my blanket wrapped around me and went out to see Thomas carrying a bag of goodies and a huge bouquet of flowers

I smiled "I missed you"

"I missed you too, so much that I was willing to catch your illness" he smiled back putting the things down

I smiled even more and ran over to hug him not caring if he got the cold.. so mean of me

Once we pulled away I went to the bag to investigate what was inside

There was chocolate, ice cream, films, cd's, cream filled cakes and medicine bless

"You are way too good for me" I smiled

"Well I do try" he smirked making me chuck a pillow his way

"How about you stop being cocky and put on a film while I sort this out" I said

"Yes ma'am" he said jokingly

I took the bag and gave him the films and went into the kitchen to get bowls for the goodies and a spoon for my tub of ice-cream and went back in to find him on the couch.

I sat next to him as he put an arm around me.

"Thank you for coming today" I said as the film started

"Well I've got to look after my girl" he replied
