Whitey POV

I was currently sat in the station watching (y/n) trying to persuade her dad, the sheriff, to get rid of a spider for her. And to be honest it was fascinating

"(y/n) it's a spider it's smaller than you" Sheriff said

"Yeah and do you know what else is smaller than me? A bullet, a bomb, bacteria, fly's that suck your blood and give you an infection" she argued

"It's not going to cause any harm" he chuckled

"How do you know? I don't care what you say it might eat me somehow, or it will disappear and hide in my house like forever or what if it chases me? Everyone knows I can't run!!" she said

"Look I'll get rid of it later" he said sitting down

"Well if it disappears then don't blame me if my house accidentally sets on fire" she huffed also sitting down

"Are you ok? You seem off today?" He asked

"I'm fine" she replied quickly

He looked at her unsure then raised an eyebrow
"What you're staying here now?" He asked

"Why problem with that?" She asked

"Yeah you'll distract him" he joked nodding to me

Yeah ok it was no secret I did like her and had been trying to get her for months but she had a boyfriend. Even though he treated her like shit.

"Well why do work when you have a beautiful sight in front of you" I smiled

She rolled her eyes but smiled slightly

"I might send you out to do something" he said to me

"I'd rather you didn't" I replied

"Seen Dan today?" Sheriff asked

"Only briefly" she said

"Briefly?" He said

"He left early" she said

He nodded and she got up "well I'm going out so see you later" when she left the sheriff sighed

"What do you think of Dan, Whitey?" He asked me

"Well I personally don't like him why?" I replied

"Does he seem like the aggressive type?" He asked

"At times" I said

"See I don't think he's treating her right at all" he said thoughtfully

"Have you told her?" I asked

"Yeah she just won't leave him and I have a feeling I know why" he said

"What do you suggest we do about it" I asked

"Well you are going to get her away from the town so I can speak to Dan" he said

"Gladly" I said smiling at the opportunity

"Oh and use your best charm" he said

"I do anyway with her" I said and walked out and he followed

"How long do you want her out the way for?" I asked

"A few hours" he replied

I nodded and headed towards her house where she was outside
