Thomas POV

It's been a year and a half since the car accident and it's been the worst year and a half of my life.

After the crash, Brooke told me that (y/n) had lost some of her memory after hitting her head rather hard in the crash. She couldn't remember me or half the people in her school. She remembered Brooke but only slightly and she knew about her parents and brother.

(y/n) was back on her feet and back at school, and I was going to tell her everything about our friendship but decided against the idea since I realised I didn't want her as a friend no more. I realised that I loved her and I didnt want to throw her off the rails.

So I've just kept to myself and watched the girl I love still smiling and getting her life back together again just without me in it.

Tyler wasn't happy with my idea and told me I should just be selfish and tell her everything purely for the fact he was fed up with Lexi being smug about it.

I was currently watching (y/n) from a distance, her (y/h/c) curled slightly and she was smiling whilst talking to Brooke

"Watching her ain't going to do anything" Tyler said

I looked at him and sighed "I know that"

"Well do something about it before she gets to you" he said nodding to Lexi who was staring at me

"What and mess up her feelings, I think not" I said

"What about your feelings" he asked and walked away leaving me contemplating whether I made the right decision or not

Your POV

Me and Brooke were outside having lunch when Tyler dragged her away to speak to her and then she came back.

All I knew about Tyler is that he was Brooke's crush but I feel like I knew more about him.

Ever since the crash I've felt like I'm missing something in my life, more like an ache in my heart, I thought that maybe it was a friend that I know nothing of, well can't remember, but I just feel that's not it, it feels like something more.

"So what did he want?" I asked smiling

Brooke grinned and was about to say something when Lexi came over

"Hey girls" she said

Me and Brooke shared a look and then looked at her
"What do you want?" Brooke asked

"Well I was gonna ask (y/n) about Th-"

"NO!" Brooke yelled suddenly

I stared at Brooke with confusion at her sudden outburst

"I mean.. she don't want to talk to you" she said noticing my look

Lexi rolled her eyes "she doesn't even know does she?"

Brooke shot her a look and Lexi put her hands up in defence "your problem not mine" she said and walked away

"What the hell Brooke?!" I said "and what does she mean by 'she doesn't even know does she'"

Brooke stood up "not here come with me"

I followed her to a more quite area and stared at her
"Well?"
