Karma's POV

This kid has me interested in him. He seems like the quiet one that nobody talks to. It also seems like he has a lot on his mind as well.... Just as I was about to read him some more the teacher dismissed class. He grabbed his bag and headed out the classroom listening to his music.

I followed after him to see if he wanted to eat lunch together. But he went outside instead. I watched him through a window to see what he was doing... He didn't even have a lunch it seems. I decided to join him too. "Hey Nagisa!" He ignored me even though he saw me.... I poked his shoulder which made him groan in annoyance.

"Look I know your new and all but you should really become friends with someone else...." I sighed and took out my lunch. "Do you have a lunch?" He shook his head and turned his music off. He tried to walk away but I pulled him back down. "What the hell is wrong with you!?!"
"Nothing...."
"I'm serious bother someone else not me!" He looked me dead in the eyes. "Yeah but I'd bother you instead!" A annoyed sigh escaped his lips.

"You might think this is funny but it's not I really don't have time for your stupidity ok!?" Then he walked off. I just smiled to myself. I got up from my spot and headed back into the school.

I walked home from school to see Nagisa walking the same direction. "Nagisa!! Wanna walk home together!?" He just rolled his eyes and walked faster. Of course being the good friend I am, I walked closer to him. He clutched his fist and ripped his headphones out his ears.

"What the hell do you want!?!"
"To be your friend!!"
"For the last time no not fucking happening ok!?!!?" I sighed. "Are you struggling in math?" He rolled his eyes and slightly nodded. Great we're getting somewhere. "Allow me to help you then!!!"

He looked at me with an emotionless expression. "Ok....for how much?" His voice was so monotonous I wondered if he even laughed. "It's free! I'd just like to help you that's all!" He sighed and shrugged. "Fine...." He mumbled something about his mom which made me curious.

I tried to ask him what he said but he said nothing and continued walking. "How about we go to your house how does that sou-"
"No..." He cut me off so quickly it scared me.
"My house then?" He nodded and continued walking in silence.

I unlocked my front door and he walked inside. Usually I get "Wow your house is amazing." But he just sat on the couch emotionless. He picked up his bag and got his textbooks out. "Shall we begin teach...." he even said that monotonously does he even smile!?

I grabbed our homework paper and explained to him all about it. He seemed to understand and write down notes. Even when he did some on his own he got it right. He was a fast learner. By time I taught him the basics it was already night.

Before he left he thanked me. He actually smiled a genuine smile! He closed the door behind him leaving me the silence of my home.....
