Rose's pov.
"Honey your hair looks flawless." The stylist commented. I smiled at her through the mirror. "Thanks to you." She giggled and added a flower.
She added a spray to fix my make up which was held natural yet beautiful. For the first time I found myself pretty.
"Ok shall we put on the dress?" She asked and I nodded. She helped me get into the beautiful dress. It had long arms but was cut really tight. Below the knees it was more loose. Like a mermaid.
"Honey you have to come." I heard my mom call and she was standing at the door. She looked at me in awe and the brightest smile I've ever seen on her face. "So beautiful my little girl." She commented. I ran over to her pulling her into a tight hug.
I sobbed a little but I had to control myself so I wouldn't ruin my make up. And the same was with my mom. "I can't believe my baby is marrying already." I smiled at her. "Your little baby isn't that little anymore. I'm 27 mom." She rolled her eyes.
"For me you'll always be my little baby." I giggled planting a soft kiss on her cheek. "I love you mom." She kissed my fore head. "I love you too baby. Now let's go shall we?" I nodded but the stylist Cindy interrupted.
"Your Veil Rose." I smiled at her shyly and she helped me put it on. "Now good luck and please don't cry." I chuckled and she pulled me into a tight hug. "Thanks." I said before leaving the room with my mother.
At the door my father was waiting. He wore a suit and he looked so much younger for his age. "You look beautiful butterfly." I smiled tugging my arm with his. "Not too bad yourself Mister." He smirked at me. "Shall we?" I hesitantly nodded.
I've always wanted to walk down the aisle with my father. I love my father. He's my hero and my king. This is one of the days I've been waiting for. And it made me feel closer to my father than I already was. He also looked so bright. Although Stephen and him weren't always so close now they seem to be fine.
For the first time today I realised the whole situation. I'm getting married. It was to hard to believe. I let out a nervous sigh as the bridal chorus started playing. My father and I took slow steps on down the altar.
The church was beautiful decorated. I believe in God just like Stephen. So we both decided to marry in a church. And this one was one of the most beautiful I've ever seen. People were smiling at us. I saw Helena who smiled so happily.
Then in the front Mae and Lyn my favourite friends. On the left side Jade and Matt. All smiled at me and Lyn even cried. I swallowed hard to control my tears. Then I looked up in front of me.
My Stephen. Looking like a god in his tuxedo. His hair was smoothly gelled back. He had a bright smile plastered on his face showing his pearly white teeth. He looked at me with so much love that I almost felt like I was melting.
I smiled at him shyly as we came to the end of the aisle. My father kissed my cheek before I walked over to the pastors side. Stephen on the other side.
"Hello ladies and gentlemen. We're gathered here for the marriage ceremony of Rose Agatha Kingsley and Stephen James Hendry." We both shared a smile before concentrating on the pastor.
"Let us begin the ceremony. Stephen please say your vow." He nodded taking a deep breath. "I promise to be your lover, companion and friend, Your partner in parenthood, Your ally in conflict, Your greatest fan and your toughest adversary. Your comrade in adventure, Your student and your teacher, Your consolation in disappointment, Your accomplice in mischief. This is my sacred vow to you, my equal in all things. All things."
Everyone clapped including myself. That was so hearttouching. "Rose your vow please." I nodded trying to compose my nervousity. "You are my lover and my teacher, You are my model and my accomplice, And you are my true counterpart. I will love you, hold you and honor you, I will respect you, encourage you and cherish you, In health and sickness,
Through sorrow and success, For all the days of my life."
Again claps filled the church. "Beautiful. Now do you Rose Agatha Kingsley take Stephen as your beloved husband? " the pastor asked. "I do." Stephen grinned at me. "Do you Stephen James Hendry take Rose as your beloved wife?" "I do." The pastor nodded.
We exchanged our rings which were brought by our daughter and our Sisters both of us smiled triumphantly. "You may now kiss the bride." Stephen put my veil back and cupped my cheek pulling me into a passionate kiss. It was just a new beginning of life.
Later...
"I'm so proud of you little one." My dad said as we danced together. " Thanks dad." He smiled spinning me around. I giggled. "I know I've been a little harsh with Stephen. Eventhough he isn't my option one for you I'm happy when my daughter is happy. And I promise I'll be easy with him. Maybe with the time I might end up good with him."
I nodded leaning against his chest. "I love you dad." I let out a few tears. "I love you too little one." I sobbed a little and let myself get comfortable. "Hmm" Someone coughed clearly Stephen. My dad I both turned to him. "May I?" He asked extending his hand.
I looked up at my father who shook his head humorously. "Be careful young man." He said letting go of me. Stephen smiled at my dad. "Can I have a dance with you mademoiselle?" A playful smile plastered on his lips. "For sure mon amour." Steohen pulled me close to him by my waist holding my other hand in his.
"How does it feel to be Mrs. Hendry now?" I looked into his beautiful grey eyes which were shining in the darkness. "I guess boring." I teased and he pouted. "Aww then I guess we should divorce." I nudged him. "Never in my life. If you even have that thought I'll chop you."
He chuckled before kissing my head and resting his on top. "Never baby. You're my only girl. And I wouldn't even dare thinking of leaving you." I smiled kissing his chin. "I love you so much and also the beautiful baby's you gave me." I smiled up at him.
"Baby's? Does that mean...?" Yup I'm pregnant. I nodded and he lifted me up in the air spinned around. "I can't believe it. Are you serious?" I nodded and he put me back down and pulled me close. "I love you too Mrs. Hendry." He said pulling me into a deep yet loving kiss.
