Chapter 28

Rose's pov.

,,Rose." I heard someone calling and Jade and I stopped hugging each other. I looked around to find Stephen and Rose standing there. Rose seemed slightly pissed. She said ,,Let's go." and walked out if the garden. ,,Thanks Rose." Jade said rubbing my back and ran to Mae.

I looked at Stephen who was standing there emotionless and starring at me. I walked to him. ,,So?" He asked crossing his arms over his chest and raising his eyebrow. ,,Stephen it's nothing you have to worry about. It's just that Jade told me that he wanted something serious with Mae and I helped him by giving a tip. That's it." I said assuring him.

,,Ok I understand. I know that you wouldn't do anything to hurt your friend." He said smiling at me. ,,Come on let's go. It's getting late." He added walking out with me.

We went out of that place to our car. Jade pulled me a bit away from the car and said ,,I'm asking Mae out for dinner. Please help me." I gave him thumbs up and smiled. We went back to the car. Mae looked curious. Stephen looked at me and I gave him a wink. He nodded and understood.

,,So umm how about we walk to a restaurant close to here?" Jade asked looking at all. No one replied and waited for Mae to reply. Finally Mae said ,,I'm hungry let's go." I looked at Stephen and told him to stay quite. ,,You guys go. I have to get something from the camping place. It'll take some time but I'll be back as soon as possible. Stephen could you drive?" I asked smiling at Jade. ,,Of course." Stephen said. ,,Ok then. Come soon." Mae said waving at us.

We waved back and jumped into the car. ,,Finally. I hope that they finally get together." I said whipping the sweat away on my forehead. ,,Let's hope." Stephen said driving and focusing on the door. My eyes were starting to close although it was pretty early. ,,Is it ok if I take a little nap?" I asked. ,,Sure." He said turning to me. I nodded and found myself a comfortable position to sit. Soon I fell asleep. I'm always like that. I used almost every chance I had to sleep.

Some time later...

,,Waki Waki." I heard Stephen's voice. I woke up and yawned. ,,We're there." He said. I looked and found the car at the lake. ,,What are we doing here? At this time?" I asked looking at my watch and saw 7:40. ,,Come out." He said opening my car door. I came out and stretched my arms. I looked around and saw a little picnic.

,,You haven't eaten that much. So let's eat somehing." He said pointing at the basket. That was super. "Sweet." I commented making his smile. We walked over to the basket with food which was directly at the lake. We sat down and he handed me a plate with pasta. ,,Thank you." I said taking some on my spoon.

I ate a spoon and said ,,It's really good and how is it still warm?" He also ate something and said ,,Ya I ordered it." I nodded and ate the food. I finished pretty fast because I didn't eat much in the past days. ,,Thanks for the dinner!" I said kissing his cheek. He smiled and handed me a glass of champagne.

,,Cheers!" He said tossing his glass with mine. We slowly drank the glass. Soon we drunk more. And more. The bottle was empty pretty fast. Both of us were slightly drunk because of all the alcohol in the blood.

,,Wanna continue the game?" He asked putting the basket in the back of the car.

Stephen's pov.

I wasn't drunk or something but I could feel the alcohol in me. I hope I don't do anything that I regret. ,,Ok." She said referring to the game but she also added ,,This time you'll start." J nodded and thought about a question.

,,Umm so how did you find me when we first met and what is your opinion now? Did it change?" I asked. I really hoped that she wasn't hurt anymore about all the shit I pulled of. ,,Umm at first I thought you were so little arrogant piece of shit." She said. I raised my eyebrow and said ,,I'm hurt."

,,Funny. And then I actually started liking you. But then you hurt me so it changed back to hating you. Now I guess you're ok." She said giggling. ,,I'm just ok?" I asked pretending to be sad. ,,Stephen." She said giggling again. I loved her cute little giggles. They were so damn cute. She wasn't one of these girls who laughed quietly. She was pretty loud.

,,So my turn. Did you do something that you regretted later?" She asked curiously. ,,So first every shit I pulled of to you. I'm sorry once again. Also that I didn't fight more for my mother." I said opening up a bit. Her face saddend a bit. She asked ,,Would you like to share what happened?"

I sighed because it was kinda touchy. ,,So when I we little I had loving parents who were also totally in love with each other. We were a happy family. One day when I was 15 his mother my grandma came to visit us. At first everything was alright but then my mother realised that all she wanted was to separate my parents. She tried to make my father understand. But it all backfired and my mother was accused for everything. Then I started threatening my granny and tried to get some sense into her head. But it backfired again and my father somehow started hating my mother. Then they fought and fought until one day he fucking slapped her so hard that she hit a cupboard. She then had to recover and ended everything with my father. She wanted to take me with her but my father denied everything she wanted. I was forced to stay while my mother left." I said taking a deep breath. I didn't wanna show any weakness. Atleats not infront of her. She herself was so weak.
