Chapter 59

Rose's pov.

He slightly smiled against my neck while holding my waist. ,,No Stephen." I said pushing him away from me. I got down from the table and went to the other side. ,,I'm sorry." He said rubbing the back of his neck. ,,I should have known that you'd be so stupid. Don't ever touch me again. I'm dating someone." I stated clearly. He went back to the plain look. Then one I hated and still do hate. ,,I shouldn't have done that." He said backing away a bit. I sighed and took a deep breath.

,,I think it's the best if I leave. I'll let you get comfortable." I said grabbing my file and walked to the door. ,,I'm sorry." He said before I walked out. Oh man why did it have to be him. Ugh I hate my life. Just when I thought everything was perfect he comes back into my life. For fucks sake no. I went back to my cabin doing my work. Just forget him. He's just playing. And you're happy with Mathew. Don't let him break it. Rose you're a strong woman.

The day went by. I finished all my work. I looked on my watch and it showed five p.m.. Time for me to get permission to leave. Back into the lions den. I knocked at the door. ,,Sir may I come in?" I asked slightly opening it. ,,Ya come in." He said. He seemed to be on a call. ,,Ok then I'll call you later. Thanks." He said cutting the call and looked at me.

,,Mr. James I finished all the work. Am I allowed to leave now?" I asked putting two files on his desk. ,,What are these?" He asked grabbing one. ,,It's the new client sir." I said. ,,Ok I'll see. You may go." He said plain. So I just left the his room and took the elevator to the ground floor. Kelly was still there. ,,Have a nice day." She said smiling at me. ,,You too." I said waving at her. This time I was able to get the bus. I was on time. I took the bus and got home.  

At home I was welcomed by this perfume smell. A flourish minty smell. It's his. He wore whenever there was anything important. He told me this morning that I should keep my evening free so I guess he's taking me out. I put my bag on the table walking to out bedroom. He was wearing a shirt and pants. It looked really good. 

,,Oh baby you're there." He said gelling his hair back. He looked elegant. ,,I am. You look good." I said wrapping my arms around his hips. He smiled at me through the mirror and spinned me in front of him. ,,I can't stop but wonder how beautiful you are." He said smiling down at me. ,,And you're my cutie pie." I said pinching the edge of his nose. He chuckled.

,,Ok before I get into some other mood go and get dressed. We're going out." He said letting go of me. ,,Ok baby." I said pecking his lips and walked over to my closet. I chose to wear a white dress and put my hair up into a bun. Some make up to make sure I looked on fleek. I put on my most comfortable pair of heels and walked back to him. He was sitting on the bed tieing his shoe lace. He looked at me and he gave me this wide smile.

,,You look so beautiful." He said getting up. ,,Thanks. Let's go I'm hungry." I said rushing him out of the house and grabbing my purse. He drove us to a beautiful restaurant. It wasn't so packed but a couple of people were there. Mostly couples who were enjoying their time together. We got our self a table next to the window with the beautiful view on the city. New York is so beautiful in the evening.

,,Take a seat Madam." He said pulling out a chair for me. I giggled and sat down. ,,Ok let's directly order and then we can talk." He said looking at the menu. I nodded and looked at the menu as well. After scanning through it I found myself wanting a carbonara. Soon a waitress came. Matt looked at me. ,,Ok I'd like to have a Spaghetti Carbonara." I showed her the menu. ,,Ya and I'd like the evening menu and two glasses of champagne." Matt smiled at me.

After getting the food and all we started talking. ,,So how is this new boss of yours?" He asked. If he only knew. ,,Um ya normal." I slightly stuttered. I don't know how he'll react if I tell him. ,,Why do you sound so weird?" He raises his eyebrow. Calm Rose Calm. ,,Nothing. It's just that he's really strict. Also he makes us do much more work then we should." Liar. ,,Ok then. If he's overexagerating it then you should do something against it." I just nodded.

I know that he's not a big fan of Stephen. He thinks that it's all Stephen's fault that I had to go through this shit. He always said if I ever meet this guy again then I don't know what I'll do. I've never seen Matt being aggressive and I don't wanna see it. I like his soft character. No aggression. Purely caring and love. No drama. He makes me happy.

,,ROSE." I was brought back to reality. ,,Ugh. I'm sorry." I said rubbing the back of my neck. He chuckled. ,,What were you thinking about?" Ugh that you hate Stephen. ,,Umm. I just thought about  how much you mean to me. I mean you're caring. You're genuine. That just makes me happy." I smiled at him. This is the truth. ,,Aww. Baby. I love you too." He said and pulled me into a genuine but passionate kiss. His soft lips moving in sinc with mine. I loved it.
