Chapter 6

Roses pov.

A couple of days later...

I'm kinda excited. Today is going to be my first day at the new college. Mae already went an hour ago because her first-class was earlier than my. I was in my bedroom looking for an outfit to wear. Since we didn't have any uniforms I decided to wear a checked blouse with blue jeans. I wanted to look a bit formal but also decent. I pulled my hair up into a bun. I just put on my moisturiser and lip balm. I'm not the kind of person to wear make up.

I took my bag and looked at the mirror one last time before leaving the house. I pressed the elevator button and it arrived. I went in and pressed the button for the ground floor. The door closed and it started. I took my phone out and looked through Instagram. I could feel the elevator stop and someone came in. After liking a couple of pics I looked at the person standing next to.

The best way to start in the morning. It was none other than Stephen. I looked at him and he looked back. Once again our eyes locked.

,,Good morning Rose." He said and smiled. This is the first time I've seen him smile. I like his smile and I liked his cute dimples. But after the way he
treated me a couple of days ago although we had just met I could feel th anger in me.
So I said ,,Some one is being kind. I'm surprised." I said smirking at him. He rolled his eyes and said ,,If you want me to insult you I'll do it for you with pleasure." ,,No need to. It's much better if you could just shut up." I said as we stepped out of the elevator. ,,That's a reason for me not to shut up." He said and his lips formed a smile. ,,Oh come on. Please don't ruin my mood. It's my first day at college." I said looking up at him. ,,Wait how old are you?" He asked furrowing his eyebrows together. ,,First of all you shouldn't ask a woman for her age. And ya I'm 22." I replied. He rose his eyebrows and said ,,Wait you're 22 and you just go to college now?" I rolled my eyes and replied ,,Dude again why do you care and no I already went to college for the let 2 years. I moved here to finish the last 2 years."

,,But why didn't you finish it in your hometown?" He asked. Why is he so interested in my life. ,,That's none of your fucking business." I said looking at him kinda irritated. He just sighed and rose his arms in surrender and said ,,No need to get angry. I was just asking." I rolled my eyes and started walking towards the entrance.

Until I heard him calling me out and I turned around and rose my eyebrow. ,,I'm sorry. If I was being to nosy. But also I'm sorry for the way I behaved the other day. I'm actually not like that. It's just my way of being kind. And I'm always the kind of person who is always bored. Also I just got so angry because no one slaps me. So it was just weird and also you're a small little girl. I'm really sorry Rose. Will you forgive me?"

It was kind of cute. The other day I thought he was a total prick and nonsense. But now he actually isn't that bad. I just nodded and smiled then left.

Stephen's pov.

She just smiled at me and left. I'm just surprised of myself that I apologised. Actually she should be the one who is supposed to apologize but I did. Something is so weird and different about her. Although I just met her a couple of days ago I behave different when I'm around her.

I went out and took my car and drove to work. I'm running my dad's company. He wanted me to take over the company because he's too busy with his new whores. My mom left when I was 14. At first he pretended like he was really sad and stuff. But just after a month he started bringing some young girls to our house.

At the beginning I thought it was for business. But soon I realised he was fucking them. I got really pissed and kept insulting at him. It got him really angry and he started physically abusing me. He's a really violent man. At that age I couldn't defend myself because he was obviously way stronger than me. I just did my best at that point to stay strong because I had a little sister to protect. When I was old enough he made me run his company so he could have his fun. He's come to office some times just to check if everyone's working good and to sign some documents and stuff. I had to take care of the business and he would take the decisions. But I'm happy that I don't live with that piece of shit anymore. He's not the father I expected him to be. My sister is still studying and she's staying at her college dorms. My biggest fear was to become like him.

I went into the office and everyone stood up and greeted me. I loved to be respected and to control people. Although dad is the head I'm the one running all this shit. So I expect to be treated well and get respected if someone has ever disrespected me I instantly made them regret it in some way. But meanwhile those people in the office know how to behave. Only Jade is one of the few people whom I allow to give me advices. Now there is just this Rose who should control her stupid mouth.
