Chapter 7

Roses pov.

I was in the bus and looking outside. This city looks really nice. I start liking it here. The tall buildings and everything. Everything about here was a lot different than back at home.

I got out of the bus and saw the college. It just looked like on the pictures from the internet. I headed towards it and saw a few people getting in. I stood on the corridor looking for my first class. I already had a meeting with the principle a couple of days ago.

I went into the washroom and washed  my hands. I looked into the mirror and inhaled and exhaled deeply.

I prayed to god that this college will be good. I'm mostly scared of the people. Because my old college was a total disaster. Those abusing pricks. I'll never forget that. I was about to getting raped.

After that I went into my first class. The teacher told me to introduce myself. I looked around for some place to sit. There was this girl who smiled at me. So I decided to sit next to her. I headed towards my seat and introduced myself.

,,Hey. I'm Jennifer. You can call me Jenni" she said reached out for my hand. I shook it and nodded.

,,So students. Please be kind to your new class mate. Now let us start the year with a group work." The teacher said and that's how it all started.

Jenni and her friends wanted me to join their group. So I did. I just didn't wanna be lonely. Not that I minded but it's just that I didn't wanna be mean and say no to people who are trying to be nice.

The class went by well and finally ended. Jenni asked me if I wanted to join them for breakfast. I obviously agreed. I had to say Jenni is a really sweet person.

,,So now we can finally talk. So where are you from Rose?" Jenni asked. ,,I'm from L.A. just moved here." I said smiling. ,,That's cool why did you change in the middle of the term?" One of her friends asked and I replied after a deep sigh ,,Um I don't wanna talk about. Personal reasons." Jenni put a hand on my shoulder and smiled while nodding her head. I just smiled back. It brought back all the negative thoughts.

I was at this party with a friend. Everything was fine. I remember being pretty drunk. I was actually shaking my ass out to the music. While my friend danced with her boyfriend. Then I remember that some dude came to me and..

,,ROSEEEEE!" Jenni shouted hitting my arm. I came back to reality and excused myself ,,Sorry guys. I was just lost in thoughts." ,,It's ok." Jenni said.

,,What where you thinking about? Or should I say who are you thinking about?" One of Jenni's friend said with a smirk on her face. ,,I rolled my eyes and rose my eyebrow. ,,Do I look like I'm thinking about some dude? Like I'm really not the type of girl to have a boyfriend, Crush or whatever." I replied shaking my head no.

Jenni rose her eyebrow and said ,,Aha. I really think there is someone. Maybe not a boyfriend but someone you're interested in."

I though about it. Actually the only guys in my life at the moment are Jade and Stephen. Jade is kinda Mae's dude. And Stephen? He's kinda a prick who probably thinks he can have any chick he wants. Ok I have to say he's handsome. But nothing special. And that personality that I realised in the couple of days is shity as hell. So definitely no.

,,I assure you there is no one in my life." I said giving an assuring smile. Jenni just laughed and said ,,If you say so." I nodded. 

We talked a bit more until the break ended. It was really nice talking to them. Afterwards we went back to class. The day went by pretty fast. It was cool talking to the people but the day itself was pretty boring.

I was waiting at the parking slot for Mae. I thought that she still had class for a couple of minutes. After some time she came out of the building waving at me. I waved back. She came towards me gave me brief hug opened the car for me to get in. We drove of.

,,So how was your first day?" She asked focusing on the road. ,,It was ok. I met nice people but it was pretty boring." I said looking at my phone. ,,Ah cool. Who are your new acquaintances?" She asked. ,,A girl called Jenni and her friends." I said turning my head to her. ,,Oh I think I've seen that Jenni before but never talked to her. She seems pretty nice from what I've noticed." She said smiling at me. ,,I'm glad." I replied.

The rest if the drive was pretty normal. Nothing special. On the way home we went grocery shopping. We just got the most important things. Our whole fridge was empty. The thing is we're at this new house for one and half weeks. We went shopping once so everything was gone. We actually wanted to go earlier but we were too busy or too lazy so ya.

Afterwards we went home and did all the cleaning and stuff. The house looked like trash. The thing is Mae was the clean and organized type if person. And me? I'm really lazy and unorganized. I really don't care if it's clean or not. Ok I do care but I'm just too lazy to clean everything and stuff.

But I'm glad that from this weekend on I decided to do some sort of sports. The thing is I'm not really happy with my body shape. I'm kinda too chubby. Also I'm really tiny so it makes me look way fater than I actually am. So I'm waiting for the weekend although the week had just started.
