"I personally think that cake would be better. " I said to Stephen. "Babe don't you think it's too small?" I shrugged. "I don't know I've never married before lol." Stephen shook his head before patting my head. "Which cake does little sky want?" Stephen asked rubbing sky's cheek.
"Stephen she's a baby. She doesn't understand ya know." He rolled his eyes. "Just considering her opinion chill." I shook my head laughing and looked at my little baby. She looked up at me with the same grey eyes of Stephen. My Girl will be a pretty one for sure. Boys will be chasing her for sure.
"Babe we still have time for the cake. Maybe we should finish the shopping and come back later." I groaned. "Ya mam this is something where you should take some time." The worker said. I nodded at them. "Fine." We walked out of the cake shop before walking into a clothing shop for children.
"I think for little Sky we should find something in baby blue." Stephen suggested. He had a good taste in clothing since he had some experience with modelling. Not much but a little. "Let's see." I looked just when a dress caught my eyes. " What do we have here?"
The dress was baby blue with some design in it. It had white roses at the neck part and was kind of puffy it looked too adorable.

"That's perfect baby." Stephen said kissing my head. "It is isn't it?" We admired the dress for a few seconds until his phone started ringing. "Excuse me babe. You look around I'll wait outside." I nodded before kissing his cheek he walks out of the shop. I take the dress but still look around a little.
Stephen's pov.
"Father I'm busy." I groaned. This man had been calling me pretty often. It's getting on my nerves. "But I need you to check on the William's file." I rolled my eyes. "I already checked it a month ago and it was perfect. What much have changed?"
He sighed. "James please. Just check on it. Karen had informed me about it having some issues." I sighed. " But.." I was interrupted when I felt someone tap on my shoulder. I turned to find Mrs. Martinez standing there. She smiled at me so genuinely and familiar.
"I'll call you later. I have to go." I said. "Stephen." Before he could talk further I hung up. "Long time no see. Mrs. Martinez." She chuckled. "Call me Helena my dear." That name sounded oddly familiar but it didn't ring the right bell.
"Sure Helena anyways how are you and Mr. Martinez haven't heard from him in a while. " She chuckled. "He had been a little busy. But he was telling about wanting to talk with you." I nodded.
"Anyways shopping?" She asked and I nodded. "Ya I'm getting married soon and also you must come mam." She smiled at me widely. "Oh god my little boy is getting married." I raised an eyebrow. She placed a hand on her mouth in shock.
"I..Stephen.." She stuttered. Soon everything started to make sense. Her familiar looks, her voice and even her sent were oddly familiar. It couldn't be her could it. "Mom?" I asked my voice cracking a little. She nodded looking down.
She looked so different from what I remember. She is much older and her face is also different. She looked at me and smiled sadly. "Mom. Why did you leave me?" I asked. She sighed running my cheek. "I didn't want to but I had to. Your father threatened me to."
I felt my blood boil. How dare he that motherfucking prick. "He said if I didn't leave you he'll make your life hell. And at that point all I wanted was you to be happy. I had to go baby." I was on the edge of crying. "I'm sorry." She said in barely a whisper. I felt the tears run down my cheek.
It had been over 10 years. I was happy and sad at the same time. I'm gonna kill that bastard that's sure. But right now I needed to enjoy having my mom back. "Don't cry baby come here." She opened up her arms. I smiled and pulled her into a hug.
I felt her sob against my chest ad I rubbed her back. "I missed you so much mom." I said feeling the closure. It felt so good to have my mom in my arms again. "I missed you too my boy." I chuckled and cried at the same time. Again adrenaline flew through my body. I kissed her face.
Rose's pov.
It had been a while and I had found the dress. I took the blue dress and some accessories. Stephen didn't come back. I started worrying. "Oh daddy sure is taking long isn't he?" I asked my daughter as if she could talk. She let out a giggle making me smile.
After paying for the clothes I walked out with Sky in my arms. I looked around for Stephen. But he was no where to be seen. "Oh baby where is your daddy gone?" I sigh and walk around the corner. There was Stephen. I can recognise his back.
Just as I was about to call him I could see him hugging a woman. From what I could see she was a little older around my mother's age I'd guess. They let go of eachother and smiled at eachother with joy filled eyes. That's when I recognised her Mrs. Martinez.
After smiling at each other Stephen turned in our direction. He tapped the woman's shoulder and pointed in our direction. She smiled at us then at him with brightly. He mouthed the words mine which made her rub his cheek. I could hear her squeal. I was confused.
Stephen motioned for me to come. I hesitantly walked towards the with Sky in my arms. I didn't understand the situation. Why was he this happy? He pulled me into a hug and kissed my cheek. " This is Rose my fiancee." She smiled at me caressed my cheek.
"I've seen her at the event with you. And she's a beautiful young lady." I blushed at the compliment and smiled. "Oh and this must be your child." I looked up at Stephen before we both nodded. "Yes this is skyler our beautiful creature." I nudged Stephen as he chuckled.
"Oh a cute family you are. I'm glad my son found someone like you my dear." I looked at Stephen with a quizzical look. "This is my mother Helena." My eyes whidend. How could this be possible. Mrs. Martinez is my mother in law? Wow that was some surprise. "Wow." I gasped making the woman laugh.
I could now see where Stephen got his beauty from. She was one beautiful woman for her age. Really. Stephen took skyler from me and his mother pulled me into a hug. "Thank you for being with him." She whispered and I smiled hugging her back. Stephen smiled at me while shaking Sky in his arms. His eyes were shining. Happiness was clearly visible in his eyes. I smiled back gulping down the tears. Everything seemed to get into its place.
